The concern I have with any throw less than 20 yards down field from Milroe is his penchant for losing track of safeties and linebackers in zone coverage. His interception yesterday was terrible.
They were in single high safety pre-snap.
After the snap he doesn’t move the safety with his eyes to the opposite hash.
Throws a seam route on the left hash to Niblack
Safety easily runs under the receiver for the interception.
That’s not getting got by a well-timed zone blitz against your RPO quick hitter throw. That’s high school quarterbacking level stuff.
Milroe does some good work considering the OL limitations. Still, his bad stuff on tape ain’t really on anyone else but himself and it is pretty damn bad.

I’ll admit I was team Simpson, but I was rooting for whoever the coaches picked. Some of these guys acted like they hated life when Milroe started having success. I now think he’s the best player in college football after the last 2 weeks. The guy is just a weapon

It’s true, like they wished we would do bad or lose were Simpson would play. It’s a stupid mindset. Get behind the players and coaches and believe they know what they are doing.
