At some point, you have to start blaming the coaches. Now is the time.

Til he’s 90?' And that will start to affect the program maybe in an adverse way. I don’t want to get there."

Simpson would eat ole miss' lunch with the kind of time that Milroe has had.

Of course he would. He’d to do them what he’s never done in live action in a practice or a game.

Neither is Buchner or Simpson.

How do we really know? He's gotten one half where he didn't get starter reps all week in practice.

The fact that he has been on campus for a year and came out of the competition third in that QB room tells me all I need to know.

I couldn’t be happier when we call plays that fits his strengths.
He’s going to turn the ball over but he’ll make up for it with big plays

I don't know what was up with Buchner being so off target (mechanics maybe), but he makes the correct reads and processes well.

If Ty's issue is processing, i'm not shocked Buchner had the lead

He has a weak arm. Anyone who knows football can see he can’t make the passes you need to be able to make in today’s game. You can’t have Tyler Watts arm and win in college football today.

He doesn't have a weak arm I'm not sure this nonsense came from but he's never had a weak arm. His whole profile is a project with a high ceiling but a low floor, marred by injuries.

He has a tendency to float it high which is probably his mechanics. He doesn't have an issue pushing distance

Come on dude.

The vast majority of people on this board know that Milroe has serious limitations. Unfortunately Buchner and Simpson are apparently worse.

I wouldn't be mad if Lonegran got some serious consideration but it's not going to happen in the immediate future because we just beat the shite out of OM.

I'm just happy we saw some things today in general that we can be joyful about.

The Simps for Simpson(tm) will get sustenance off that 2 point conversion for at least another week

He has a wet noodle arm. You don’t know what you are talking about.

There's still legitimate concern to be had, though. If we come out like this against the wrong team, we'll find ourselves down 28 before we know it. Fortunately we did find some things on offense that actually seem to work for us, though.

I don’t think you’ve ever read a paragraph on Buchner if we’re being honest. He was a five star in his class who missed his senior season because California moved it to spring and he was an early enrollee. Then he was plagued by injuries at Notre Dame and took minimal live snaps. His issue is inexperience and lack of development as a project.

You won’t find a scouting report anywhere about him having a weak arm. It’s always been a platform issue where he has inaccuracies. Land grant did a solid write up years ago

Give me something better than some weak “but his arm!” straw grabbing response He’s played poorly in live action but it’s not because of a noodle arm
