That’s straight up bull shite. We want big games while we’re still good enough to destroy them FFS

Just glad there is no UT Chattanooga on the schedule.

Would be better than UT-Martin. You know where Martin, TN is? You almost need a passport to get there.

Damn, that's sad. Please tell me we play Georgia or Florida at home too.

Lulz at anyone who thinks Florida is a good home game. Shitty team, and the worst fans in CFB.

ETA - we also get UGA, AU, MSU, and aTm at home. It's an excellent home schedule in conference.

rather than upgrade the ooc schedule to fill the stadium. they chose to decrease seating with a unnecessary jumbotron.

I'd much rather play UTC than UTM.

This is the problem for many the only affordable tickets are the crap OOC games. Personally tired of the neutral site games. Excited about some of the future home & away series and wish we could get more of those going.

Don’t know who does the scheduling or who gets final say, but this reeks of laziness.

I’ll say again, I do not have a clue what all goes into this, but this is not anything to be excited about as a fan.

Disappointed is an understatement.

I wonder if it's getting more difficult to find quality opponents. We haven't been very accommodating to them

Is it not feasible to get home games with the better G5 teams like Memphis, Colorado St, Wyoming, Houston, San Diego St, Fresno St, Cincinnati, UCF, USF, etc?

ETA: I wish the SEC would ban playing FCS teams and add a 9th SEC game.

Georgia State and Kent State might as well be two more FCS teams. I understand why we play these type of teams, but I wish they'd go with better certain wins like Fresno State, Tulane, or hell even Southern Miss would be more interesting.

I guess we just don't see value in playing these games, but I agree. Georgia State, Kent State, and UT-Martin are bad even for their level.

I will say UCF, USF, Houston, and Memphis seem to be able to get home and homes with middle tier power 5 programs, so maybe it's them that aren't interested in playing us just on the road.

Why do we not play instate teams like Troy, South Alabama, Jacksonville State?

We could have thrown USM or Troy on the schedule.. they seem to like to play SEC teams.. UCF would have been fun or FAU would have been hilarious. If we are going to play weak teams let’s make it fun..lol
Hell give me Jackson State for the band
