The sidewalk fans would have revolted. He would have been a good hire just like the one they did hire

It’s just frustrating as hell to see a coach with lesser qualifications go to a school with less talent and be undefeated.

Oh so Indiana has played two top 10 teams and two more top 25 teams?

Yes it was a stupid thread and you should be embarrassed you started it

According to Sagarin Indiana has played the 91st toughest schedule up to this point.

A lot of people that watch college football cannot wrap their minds around the fact that not all schedules are equal. They apply the NFL to college football and think the talent gap is smaller than it is.

How would you have felt when Byrne announced the successor to the GOAT & the leader of the new era of Alabama football is the 63 year old HC of James Madison?

This site would've burned to the ground. He's having a great year at Indiana but 1. Expectations are totally different, thus less pressure 2. Indiana has played one team with a winning record and a true freshman is their QB and 3. The dude is 63 years old and just came back from D2, it's not like he had a great resume. DeBoer just came off a title appearance from Washington

He wouldn't have lost to Vanderbilt.

Amirite?

If only Deboer had gotten a few lucky breaks to squeak out a win at Vandy like Sark did... who's in his fourth season at Texas.

That penalty on that Vandy fake punt, though.

If he keeps on putting up great records at Indiana, he may be on the shortlist in 3-4 years.

He will be 67/68 years old in 3-4 years.

That's 100% on DeBoer. Coaching change is the ultimate opportunity to make personnel changes. He went full chicken shite

If you believe anyone was going to come to Alabama after Saban and replace a Heisman hyped QB who was recruiting his teammates to stick around, you are out of your mind.

Nobody was dumping Milroe. Once Saban left, we were stuck with him for at least this season.

In no universe should Bama have lost this game but as it turns out, this is not your grandfather's Vanderbilt. The Commodores are actually a pretty solid team.
