Brodie was legit. He was just as fragile as an eggshell.

I rarely let any sort of crimson tint cloud my vision. But Brodie was better than legit. Dude had all of the talent in the world.

In a non-injury riddled vacuum, Brodie was probably the most talented QB we have had at Bama, ever. I mean in strict terms of being able to play the position. His arm talent, release mechanics, reading defenses, accuracy, touch, ball placement, ability to throw guys open, looking defenders off, pocket deception, timing...etc.

Put a healthy Brodie on the 2012 team, and I honestly believe he throws for over 4,000 yards, 40-45 touchdowns, and less than 10 interceptions.

Brodie wins a Heisman if he played for Saban. That good.

Jesus Christ... now we're sucking off mike shula. I'll be damned if some of y'all aren't in love with mediocrity. He came in with us on probation, and left with his last 2 seasons as forfeited. That's not an improvement in situations, even remotely.

I get kinda pissed when people start ragging on Pennington. He was our 3rd string QB to start the year. Let me repeat that. 3rd string QB. He did his best. He was not very talented. He was tough and played as hard as he could for Alabama during dark times. I respect him.

+1 ... frick every "fan" that rags on him/his play ...

Dark times. 03 was so damn awful. Lost to Hawaii and Northern Illinois.

I was at that game and remember walking out of BDS just thinking this about Michael "The Burner" Turner: Why can't Bama sign and/or develop a power runner like him that can take over a game.

If I knew then what I know now

Great arm, great QB but he would have still had the injury problem. He didn't have any better luck staying healthy when he made it to the NFL.

Saban can fix a lot of things, but that ain't one of them.
