Josh Jacobs was also charged with DUI earlier this year, but it was later dropped...no one got hurt fortunately.

Josh wasn't charged because his BAL was below the legal limit.

Ruggs was transported to the hospital, where they no doubt took blood. They already know what his BAL was. And that's why LVPD is saying that he will be charged.

I'd probably behave in a way that might cause people to question my sobriety if I just got into a serious car accident. Especially if it was clear that someone was dead. I'm waiting for more on that.

He went to the hospital so they have his blood. I remember your post on here talking about driving around shite faced all the time. You ain't worth a frick either.

In life I've learned that people will judge you off the FIRST story they hear about a person. My prayers goes out too both sides and just know that God has the last say on a person life not man.

Truly a sad situation.

Yeah, that is why I am waiting to hear what they say about it since their statement wasn't very definitive.

That's not necessarily true. The burden of proof to charge someone with DUI is extremely low. In most states probable cause to arrest someone for a DUI can be met with "I smelled alcohol and his eyes were a little bloodshot".

As far as already knowing what his BAC was, they'd have had to get a search warrant for the hospital records. If they opted for that over simply getting a search warrant for his actual blood so they could send a sample off to their forensic lab, that could cause them some issues down the road depending on the timing of everything.

Odds are they smelled alcohol or weed on him or maybe found a half empty bottle of booze or a half smoked blunt inside his car and he was acting confused, slurring some words, etc. It's much, much easier to charge him with the DUI now and dial it back later than it is to not charge him with a DUI and try to add it on later.

Tell me where Tiger went after his last wreck and about his impairment test

I know a guy who blew 0s and was still charged with dui. 6 weeks later those assumed positive urine/blood test results came back negative af for anything. Dude was the principal at a local high school, and the retard who pulled him over didn't know who he was. I know the cop too He was/is actually was our most certified dui officer, with all the fancy state certs. Still can't tell the difference between absolutely nothing in your system and under the influence.

It is perfectly fine to wait. It’s the smart thing to do and really what we all need to do every time we’re getting our ‘facts’ from the media.

Having said that, the photos show what was a high speed impact in a residential area. He will be in serious legal jeopardy even if he comes back stone cold sober.

Very tragic, but he deserves to go away for a long time.

Back in 2002 my grandfather was driving home drunk from a fishing trip at Dauphin Island. Ran a red light and t-boned a car, killing a dad and his two young sons. Spent the rest of his life in prison, passing away in 2013.

Depends on the state.

As was stated, it’s easier to walk a DUI back.

He may have had a lawyer on speed dial as most of these guys do. Told him don’t blow, wait until the last second to draw blood. He cooperated without if that makes sense. At the end of the day we don’t know all the facts, he could have not been over/under the legal limit, totally shite face, high or none. All we know is they charged him, someone is dead and all the facts will come out.

Naw I don't. The thread was whacked but ole boy said it after saying he was ashamed and disgusted with posters on this board regarding BLM. He knows he did.

Lmao, I did not. Literally doesn't even make sense.

A) While I have participated in some political discussion on the board, I have never said anything about "being disgusted" with other posters here. The only time I ever had a serious, somewhat heated discussion, it was wrapped up with everyone ironing out miscommunication and being cool with each other. Surge and Saint can attest to that. B) How does me "being disgusted with posters on this board" (not something I have said) end up with me bragging about "driving around shitfaced all the time"?

I'm thinking that you picked up some bias against me for not sharing your politics and you applied some other shite you saw somewhere else to me as a result.

So he hit the other car in the rear, and the person died?

That's a helluva impact but I would think survivable. I wonder if the victim burned to death?

Based on those pictures he was HAULING arse too.

frick him. Deserves to rot.

TMZ is reporting the woman was trapped in her car and couldn't escape before it burst into flames.

Raiders just released him. Not a good sign that any mitigating information is going to come out. I imagine if there was a chance of his tests coming back clean they wouldn't have pulled the trigger so fast.

Damn.

Henry is a fricking idiot.

He almost lost his NFL career to an accident involving a trailer last year and now he fricks it up by doing something completely preventable.
