Which is why I'm failing to see why people think he sucks so bad.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my opinion of Morris is that he has the lowest ceiling. However, if he can manage the game MAYBE that's enough. Saban seems to think so, but personally I think we need a playmaker at QB with this schedule. But I'm certainly not ruling Morris out, he's very much in this race.

He was the play signaler last season, so he has that going for him.

Sounds like that role is gonna be reduced to just holding a poster this season though

Not to burst any bubbles with all the QB talk but didn't Morris backup the punter and didn't Bateman take reps with the TE or WR. That should tell us a lot and hope and pray that either Coker, Cornhole or BB takes the lead.

That doesn't tell us anything other than Morris and Bateman are team players and will go wherever the team needs them.

Yeah we didn't have a punter for A-day 2 years ago so Morris filled in. He never changed positions.

WRT to Bateman's recruitment, it was a pretty major get at the time. He was one of the top QBs in that class and we were never really in it for Browne, Hackenburg, or Morris. Ramsey flirted but UGA was his dream school. AU had just hired Jeremy Johnson's HS coach IIRC. Agree we should've pursued Dobbs over McLeod though. Still wonder if taking McLeod had anything to do with Tyren Jones but I doubt it since I don't think they were teammates very long

I saw Parker McLeod at Gallettes one night. He was standing off to the side by himself not taking to anyone. Weird dude.

Not as weird as being able to recognize a 4th string QB.

It was the spring after he enrolled and he's a tall Ginger. Not that difficult to notice in a crowd.

He punted a couple of times in a scrimmage because we were short on punters. Last week I changed the toilet paper roll at work when it was empty. That doesn't make me the janitor.

To be more precise, he meant today was the last two-a-day.

Some photos from Sunday:

Daylon Charlot

Tevin Isom...this guy is pretty big, and from what I've read, he is fast. He's a walkon, but has anyone heard anything about this guy?

Blake Barnett

Calvin Ridley

Dick Mullaney

Alec Morris
