Rare. Happened a couple of times a season not a game.

Accepting medicorcy is actually a sign of a bandwagon. You dont actually care if the program is humming at top speed. Just win baby. Lol

Hasnt been the case in years
Judging by the amount of trash talk by opposing teams this year compared to even last year this is bs.
Youre a terrible fan. Go post on Bama Online while we discuss what the program needs to do to correct the ship. frick off.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Nick Saban is a generational coach. Men like him do not come along very often. While it’s important to preach the Standard, we must also remember this is a head coach who is only just now understanding what it’s like to coach at this level.

There was no sunshine pumping in my post, but there is an area in betwen sunshine pumping and doomsdaying. How is whining incessantly over and over again about the same things accomplishing anything productive?

That Jalen Mildew just stinks. That defense is even worst

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but nobody in the program is reading the histrionics on the bama board of the rant looking for answers to right the ship.

Yeah, Nick Saban would never lose to South Carolina would he?
Some of you need to man up & quit your fricking crying. This is a team in transition. Fact is we are 5-1 with a real chance to win in Knoxville next week.

At least we had 2008-2023. No matter what, it will never be that good for any team. We’ll make it to acceptance eventually.

You mean the South Carolina with Marcus Lattimore, Alshon Jeffery, Steve Spurrier, and ended up winning their division?

He was being sarcastic.
That 2010 SC game made me feel like I was kicked in the balls, just like this SC game.

We’re just six games in to the DeBoer era, with a couple of blowout wins including a win over #2 UGA.
We need a larger sample or even a full body of work before coming to such a conclusion.
Now, there’s no excuse to lose to Vanderbilt. But, there’s still a full season ahead and we’re 5-1.

We weren’t elite last year either. One fluky play away from losing to a terrible Auburn team.

If we get 4 losses, does that put Deboer on hot seat for next year?

How does wanting the team to perform at a high level equate to being a band wagon fan?
That’s one of the dumbest takes I have ever heard.

Honestly, looking at how some of the other SEC teams, I feel like CFB in general is suffering due to team culture being altered by the portal. Players have too much power, are too self-absorbed and don’t commit to the team in the same way they used to. Heck, that’s primarily why Saban tapped out.

Can you please explain how any message board post, either positive or negative, can accomplish anything, productive or otherwise?
Do you believe you are actually accomplishing something productive with a message board post?

I'm not diss'ing the standards here but we all expected some fall-off when a (GOAT) head coach retired 9 months ago, whole staff had to be hired, several excellent talent left, new schemes needed to be installed.
But if I recall correctly, most of us expected to drop 1 - 3 loses this season.
We became spoiled by the win against Wisky and the surprise strength of the team vs the Dawgs.
My only point - I expected some ups and downs and we've got them. But to be ranked as high as they are - only months into this transition, is still impressive. They will win and they will probably stumble again. I don't like it, but I expect it.

Stop spewing this nonsensical bullshite all over the place... Saban had this team in the playoff or won a title nearly every year for 20 damn years including LAST SEASON which considering his coordinators, OL, center, and QB may have been his most amazing job. He whipped the shite outta Kirby and won the SEC last year.
You are literally talking about the greatest coach of all time. He went out on top IMO. The people around him quit the standard, but CNS held up his end to the very end.

Some of you guys need to chill
It's not like Kirby or Sark inherited a shitshow of talent either and both of them had a rough start.
Deboer has proven he can win. At least give him three years before crowning him Dubose 2.0.
