To be fair, people are probably basing it on how we looked against Auburn. I mean if you couldn’t block Auburn how are you gonna block Georgia. But I do think Bama plays much better than last week and will have a chip on their shoulder. Will it be enough to win? I don’t know but I’m expecting a damn good game.

I'm starting to believe a bit... the OL is the main concern obviously but man they looked a lot better in the second half with the changes we made. I think Owens even looked better than he had.

I think 1 is going to have a monster game.

If you go in with low expectations you can't be disappointed.

I just don't see how Bama can overcome the play of the offensive line against a really good front 7. The Bama defense played better against AU but most of that was due to how bad the barn offense was with the backup QB.

Hope we win.

I think we need bryce to use his feet early and use some screens to keep them from sending the house. If we can get their defense off schedule and in check we might have a good shot. We gotta negate their front and blitz

I think you need to come back down to Earth. Georgia’s defense is elite.

All day yesterday and today, all I’ve seen is how bad we are going to get our teeth kicked in. I have this feeling we are going to come out and play ball. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the level of shade being thrown at Bama before. I think we take this one.

I remember the last time we were disrespected this much, when we played Miami for the National Championship. I had just graduated from Bama and was wringing my hands listening to the media. I thought for sure we were going to get our butts handed to us. For those old enough to remember what the media was saying you can confirm what I am saying. Well, that turned out to be a 34-13 beat down by Bama!

GA is the media darlings in the nation right now. You wouldn't believe how horrible it is living here in GA! The sports talk guys are predicting a blow out, 41-10.

But ya know, it's ok, let's wait and see what our team does. If I were a betting girl, my monies on Bama.

We might be those Mother F*ckers! RMFTR

Many talking heads and even some of Bama fans are but what they fell to realize is that Georgia defense isn't anywhere near what they had last year.

The problem isn't just comparing Georgia's defense to what they had last year.

It's comparing our offense to what we had last year.

I saw more passion out of the defense Saturday than I’ve seen all season. That is an encouraging thing down the stretch. Anderson, Phil, Young, Mckinstry, Turner… I saw them all make plays and get up and say with belief “I’m the baddest motherfricker out here.” Truth be told I think Auburns mockery kick started that. Kids don’t like being disrespected.

This team might not be “vintage Bama” but they don’t have to be. There’s enough talent on that side of the ball that if they are playing with passion and aggression- something that’s been missing- they will make life hell on any offense.

It’s felt like they were going through the motions a lot this year. Waiting on someone else to make the play, etc. I don’t care about auburns lack of weapons, results and stats don’t tell the whole story. They played with anger and malice, and it’s been sorely missed. Hearing some pundits you would think Georgia is playing Arkansas on Saturday, someone just happy to be there. They’ve got another thing coming if they aren’t mentally prepared for a fist fight

ETA: offensively I think we’re fricked and will have to rely on either short fields or long plays to score points. There isn’t a ton of scheming you can do with a bad offensive line. We aren’t even inconsistent. We’re just below average on the line and they’re really good up front.

It’s not the team I’m concerned about as much as some of the coaching staff getting their act together and actually calling good plays, etc.

What this team could really use would be the non-offensive TDs we've had from teams in the past. We had 15 in 2016.

The '92 Sugar Bowl Natty game against Miami!
That was honestly the very BEST win for me of them all. And I was around before Coach Bryant was!

Even if Bama takes the W, It’s going to be tough to do it twice vs that Georgia team. Nothing is impossible though.

I'm not seeing us winning the battle in the trenches. UGA defensive front is nasty... Our offensive line was owned by Aggies, LSU, and Auburn. I just don't thin our OC knows how to adjust to it...
