And this still happens. How many times do we have to get fricking torched before Saban gets rid of Golding? This is 5 years. Every major contributor from last years defense returned but yet THIS frickING RETARD IS WASTING IT

Just doesn’t seem that the defense has that fire or that nastiness for whatever reason.

I mean, we got torched like that in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 by at least one team. I'm disappointed at how our defense played obviously, but people are acting like this never happened with smart, and Pruitt. It did.

Good point. The lack of pass rush tonight was more concerning to me than the horrendous secondary play.

Pass coverage was never, ever, ever this bad.

Agreed completely. I was just waiting the entire game for them to turn it on, and they just didn't do jack shite. Props to UT's O line, they whooped our front 7's arse pretty much all night.

No sir! We didn’t have anything remotely close to being this bad in the defensive backfiel. They burned these guys over and over and over. It was a pathetic display.

I'm not going to disagree with you that this may have been the worst, it's a contender for sure, but in those games I mentioned we were also burned over and over and over.

The only thing Golding is good at is cashing $100,000 checks every month. It's disgusting that Saban keeps that drunk arse slob around. He can't even get an interview anywhere for a HC job. Everyone else is laughing at us keeping that imbecile around to steal money.

When in those years did Bama give up over 50 points and 500 yards? Golding has made this kind of performance his trademark against any decent offense

This. Anytime we play a decent team they are dropping a huge number of points on us. If I had one wish, it would be for Saban to fire that complete imbecile Golding tonight. The hot dog vendor could call better defense than our current DC.

Everyone blames the secondary.. I get it.

But ask yourself this…

Did we ever do anything defensively to confuse or make Hooker uncomfortable?

Did we ever bring the house? Disguise a blitz or coverage?

The answer is no

You could add 2015 Clemson, 2016 Arkansas, and 2016 Clemson…
