People may laugh but I was really, really impressed with Brown at A-Day. IMO, he displayed the most shiftiness of all the RBs on the field at A Day. Plays much bigger than his size, not afraid of contact. Reminds me of Josh Jacobs. He seems like a natural on 3rd down to catch a screen pass or check down pass and pick up some good yards on his own.

We’re going to find a way to end up with a rotation of shite at tailback again, huh?

A lot of superfans here don't like the see this but the question remains if AJ Dear, Danile Hill, whoever else were that good then why did Bama go to the portal and try to get Hollywood Smothers (who rushed for a whopping 700 yards in the ACC)? I also heard they offered the midget RB from ASU who also ended up at Texas.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know if the 2018 tandem would get much done behind that line

Or it could be that our defense is going to be freaking good this year? Barring injuries, I think they're going to be much improved from last year.

Smothers rushed for 939 yards last year behind a mostly bad line partly because he could create when nothing was there.

Brown shared the same trait, and both were targeted by a team who also needed to improve its run game that happens to be a favorite to win the conference.

The staff being interested in proven commodities isn't a negative regardless of the potential of players on the roster.

Say it with me: Traeshawn Brown, Freshman All-American. It can't hurt to try to speak it into being.

Let’s be the change we want to see in the tide world.

Several of the picks reportedly went off of the receiver's hands. How good the passes were, who knows?

If you look at Deboer history as an OC/HC , his QB has run for 1K or been the leading rusher more than half the time. Would be pretty damn surprised if Keelon doesn’t win this “competition” When you have a guy like Mack decide to stay you have to keep the “competition” alive for a little bit.

I got invited today. Couldn’t go unfortunately.

Heard only a few things from my brother.

KR seemed like the better QB.

AK to him seemed to be pretty ginger when he was helped off.

OL was average

Yeah this is not good. Same as last year and Bama is looking at 8 or 9 wins in the regular season.

Yall are overreacting to the OL reports. We expected the DL was good and we know the defense is much more experienced. Plus, defenses are usually ahead of the offense at this stage, especially during a QB battle.

People said the same last year fwiw. You may be right, you may be wrong. We’ll know in September or October at the latest.

Camp average probably/hopefully means season above average. Our O line won’t play many better defenses than ours. Plus it’s a new oline coach and almost completely new unit so they’re still gelling.

I’m ok with them during camp and practice. No need to concuss yourself with friendly fire. They’re working on some updated helmet padding technologies so they won’t always look so silly.
