Realistically the SEC doesn’t need LSU. Louisiana is a dying state and its biggest city is sinking and losing population in droves.

This could be a great way to shed some dying weight for the conference. You have the Texas schools now.

Boot em. Pun intended.

He also threw 2 picks

The touchdowns and yards were all his doing and the picks were all due to wide receiver or coaching mistakes.

I’m basing this entirely on what I want to be true

per the staff on BOL it was not NIL related but it was a "culture fit" issue. reading between the lines, he came on a visit committed and left the visit and decommitted. Again per the staff on BOL it seems something transpired where bama decided he was not a fit and told him they were going in a different direction and good luck.

No idea what that was but seems something happened where they decided he was not a good fit for the program and culture.

I’m ok with that. Knock on wood, but we’ve never had a single character concern out of a DeBoer player. He’s tapped in to the types of guys he wants on his team

He legit may have had something go really sideways on the visit. I won’t speculate but it was bad enough they told him to seek other options.

Traditionally the reasons players are sent home or told to look elsewhere immediately after a visit are recruiting other visitors for another program or stealing shite. Not seeing eye to eye over money isn't enough to completely stop recruiting a kid who still can't sign for over a year. You only burn a bridge you know you never want to cross again.

It appears WR Monshun Sales is experiencing a "Senior" slump.

Through two games he has two catches for 12 yards.
