Anyone watch Trent last night? Was supposed to be 1vs2 in the state. If that’s the case, I thought he looked good.

I only saw the highlights. He looked good. He's got a really nice touch on the ball and does a nice job checking down if the primary isn't open.

Seems like he has a strong arm. In his highlights against Clay-Chalkville he was hitting long throws with precision. His size is possibly not great but he certainly looks like a Div 1 QB.

Nice! I wonder what will happen if he misses a couple of kicks. It seems like they're neck and neck, so I wouldn't mind continuing the competition throughout the season to see who handles the pressure better

"after experimenting calling plays from the field late in the 2025 season."

Yikes! This is probably a good move then

I think Grubb came down to the sideline to make sure Kapilovic wasn’t curled up in a sleeping bag

Usually one of the position coaches on offense handles the field level stuff. There legitimately must've been some sort of breakdown with whoever that was...

2027 LB KarMoniy Gibbs is an underrated name to know in Alabama. (

@KarMoniyG_24

) At 6’3”, 200 pounds, Gibbs has the frame and athleticism that immediately catches your attention. Gibbs has posted 5 sacks (2 games) which leads the state of Alabama. He tells me he’s hearing from Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt and will visit Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Crimson Tide’s home opener.

UPDATE: Mississippi State commit Julian “Juju” McDonald is continuing to draw major attention. (

@picksix_9

) The 6’2”, 170-pound 2027 DB out of Williamson tells me Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Oklahoma and Cincinnati have been in contact with him. McDonald will visit LSU this weekend for LSU-Clemson and also plans to make his way to Tuscaloosa soon.

It seems like we have a rival fan lurker on here whose only purpose is to downvote every single post in every single thread.

You know how Iowa has that cool tradition where they wave at the sick kids in the children’s hospital in the 1st quarter?

I heard LSU is doing something similar. Waiving goodbye to the hospital itself as equipment is sold for scrap to fund their NFL…errr NiL

Speaking of the corndogs, the SEC has filed a lawsuit against them. Personally I think they've pushed the envelope too far as it is, but it'll be interesting to see if Sankey and the other ADs have the stones to actually kick them out or refuse to play them if they don't get the injunction or Kiffin ignores it.
