Early, but Rivers is leaning to Notre Dame so far

Alabama isn’t giving NIL out that this applies to, so no, it doesn’t apply to them. Yea Alabama was already operating under this structure and even with settlement didn’t get out of fair value issues (see: Clearinghouse).

One of the things I believe Saban structured before he retired. He knew what was coming and like everything else he did while at the capstone he stayed two steps ahead of everyone else.

All the changes that have surfaced regarding NIL or proposed to change will not affect UA thanks to Saban.

This is the most logical expectation that most fans need to be okay with.

I'm pretty sure it'll be Mack transferring if Simpson does well.

Simpson wasn't gonna stay at Alabama after this season. It's either NFL or transfer portal.

Rivers is absurdly Catholic so I would be totally unsurprised if his kid goes to Notre Dame

The guy can field an actual offense with how many kids he has (12~)

Per Hayes Fawcett: 2026 OT Bear Fretwell has flipped his commitment from Georgia Tech to Alabama.

Nice. Good get for Debo & Co.

Edit: Bear88 beat me to it.

I think it’s only fair that Bear88 gets to break any news about recruits named Bear

Someone said the class cap was around 21/22

I'm guessing tank is the final piece?

Tank is the final piece for the summer.

One thing that generally happens with us is that ice the season plays it and we get into silly season and coaches start getting canned or NiL starts getting negotiated we usually have opportunities to pick up a few guys.

If you look at the top of the recruiting rankings you see teams like USC, LSU, Michigan, Florida, FSU. These teams have coaches that could be fired.

I would say Auburn as well but I don’t know if we’re in the market for 2 stars

I trust Brent Key on oline evals. Grubb is also an old oline coach at heart so if both of those guys see something in Bear I think we’re feeling ok

I doubt LSU and FSU have the money for their divorces. The rest are pretty likely though.

LSU will turn their whole jersey into a NASCAR and rename Tiger Stadium “Blue Chew Stadium” to pay the buyout. Then hire another joke coach.

I think two spots left. Both on defense. Tank Jones and Elijah Golden.

Random thought, but does anyone know if our staff was ever pursuing DL Vodney Cleveland Jr. out of Parker in BHam?
