Adding Derek Meadows to the list shows this staff definitely likes tall WRs.

They definitely have a type. Tall track stars. And Owen Cabell is the fastest of them all. No way he stays a 3 start after committing to Bama, same for Williams. Bama bumps incoming

6-4 with power conference speed seems like an underrating to me. That is often a 4 star. Seems like we found guys who didn’t do enough camps?

Ah that explains it. That’s a similar story for many under-the-radar prospects. Didn’t play until late in their HS career due to depth or parents not wanting him playing until they were upperclassmen.

Another good one, starting to like this class!
Up to #7 on 247 - just behind Miami by .09 points and ahead of Clemson by .03 points . Can’t wait to see how the rest of this week unfolds.

Anyone who saw his wide receivers at Washington should be feeling good about whoever DeBoer wants to bring in at Bama.

You look at Germie Bernard who is one of the top rated receivers by PFF for this year and he had him stacked as his WR3 his last year at UW.

It’s like seeing a 2* or 3* TE at Iowa, a 3*-4* RB under Saban or a QB for Urban Meyer back in the day, whoever it was the coaches were probably right and the recruiting services just hadn’t caught up yet.

Not to mention the WRs that Shepherd evaluated and developed at Purdue.(David Bell and Rondale Moore) and Washington State (River Cracraft) that are all still playing in the NFL.

Have things between us and Feaster cooled down? After his OV to TTown it sounded like we were in the drivers seat.

This has been a fun week or so in regards to recruiting. Bama switching to a tall linebacker model after all the years under Saban is fun. Morgan is next. Hope in the next few seasons we have a tall QB who can step up and keep us stretching the field up high with all our size at linebacker.

We got to make space for the Globe Gobbler if he wants in, I think he might consider a position change.
