Clearly Iowa State not exactly a place to go to college if you want the cool factor but if you want to play, it might be the place. Who wants to come to Bama to play behind Russell for a minimum of 2 years.

Iowa State has been a decent team particularly since Matt Campbell became the HC. Not a GREAT team but scrappy and Campbell gets the most out of what he has to work with there. I'd love to see this kid sign with Bama but I'd understand if he wants to be THE MAN immediately and signed with Iowa State.

I admittedly don't watch much tape but from what little highlights I've seen I think Preston Carey is a bit underrated as a 3 star. Think he could be a steal on the DL.
