Antonio Coleman, the current williamson coach was a barner. There were others.

He looks like he's going to be pretty good.

Too bad only 3 of the 10 are boys, or maybe we could start a Rivers family pipeline. Didn't even know he just had another one a year ago.

Really good looking prospect. Kind of reminds me of Jihaad Campbell. Similar size, speed and athleticism.

Doesn’t appear to be. He is too tall.

With Bernard and Latham back, that's it for those announcing a return. Based on what those in-the-loop are saying, I would expect us to sign 4 or 5 more from the portal. What a couple of them have been saying, it sounds like we want...

1 WR - IF the right one is available.
1 OT - IF one is ready to play.
1-2 DTs... probably one for depth behind Keenan.
1 ILB - Watch one of the teams still in the playoffs... a true freshman off one of those teams is a possibility.

And I guess with the Spring and possibility of injuries, another position of need could pop up. That sounds like it's likely it for now.

Also, it's said that the transfer TE from Weber State will be a collective scholarship and won't count against the 85.

Top performers, ranking implications from Day 2 of Navy All-American Bowl

quote:

2. CHUCK MCDONALD, FOUR-STAR ALABAMA CB SIGNEE

Chuck McDonald enjoyed a banner day inside of the Alamodome during Day 2 of AAB competition. McDonald took home the belt for best in coverage during the morning session and again during the joint practice. The Alabama signee broke on routes extremely well in coverage and snatched an interception during the 7-on-7- portion. McDonald not only boasts excellent length with a filled-out frame -- he's superb adjusting to the ball and is sticky in coverage outside the numbers and in the middle of the field.
