At a certain price, it is more sensible to pay for a transfer than a HS senior unless they are the surest of sure things. Perhaps that is the calculus our GM is considering. We need more WR production in 2025. Bernard is a quality "guy" and Williams is a star but after that it is nothing but players who are proven mediocre producers and injury histories. KLaw is the guy I am the highest on after the top 2 and I'm not sure he's really a slot receiver as much as slot back.
I'm sure the reason he took until Wednesday to flip is because his reps gave Alabama the opportunity to counter.

I seem to recall reading that early playing time was big with his dad. Regardless, I think Justin Hill is the better prospect at that position and luckily he seems locked in.
