TBH, if I’m an elite RB, unless something changes, I’m not going to Bama. We have not shown the willingness, or ability, to run the ball in a traditional sense. We need to correct course. Jam needs more touches.

I guess he didn't burn any bridges when he flipped.

Just so everyone knows, Kevonte Henry is very likely a replacement on the roster for another "Bandit" who's likely to hit the portal. Is the future transfer a 5-star "bust", or just a guy who doesn't fit the system? (A "tweener"?)
Let the meltdown begin......

If you are referring to Keeley then yes , I expect him to hit the portal

Doesn't take Einstein to figure this one out. Pretty obvious that he's taking a self-imposed redshirt.

Wasn't he suppose to be a really good talent?
We struggle getting to the QB couldn't we use him or some of the other guys recruited by Saban?

Supposed to be . He came close to transferring when Saban left

Why aren't we using him? What about the others?
I just mainly see #20, #22 and #34. Thr first two have blown so many sacks and tackles for a loss they should share responsibility with our dumbass DC for our horrible 3rd and 4th down defense

Yeah, "finishing" doesn't seem to be a strength of this unit. They are roughly on par with the NO Saints this season in the tackling dept.
As for Keeley, he probably has been half-hearted about Alabama since CNS left. Should have hit the portal a year ago if that's the case. Unless this staff can find a way to reload the roster up front, the Bama D is gonna continue to be mired in mediocrity as it has been for a number of years.

I agree with this, but he is quietly putting together a really good season. In 6 games he has 360 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns. 7.1 ypc, and he has 5 catches for 50 yards and another touchdown. So averaging a touchdown a game isn’t necessarily going to cause a running back to look elsewhere. That being said, I’d like to see our backs get another 10 carries a game or so.

Yep and against South Carolina we saw #90 cut into Latham’s/Overton’s playing time. Which I’m not opposed too. Since we signed him, I’ve always thought Renaud could be a very serious talent and player for us.

The rampant speculation about Keon Keeley is still one of the weirdest things about the kids career. The guys been on the cusp of transferring for like two years with no actual fire behind the “smoke”. And Notre Dame fans will circlejerk him transferring there despite never cracking the roster here
The guys buried behind talent and he might not be some super elite player that he was mocked as. That’s all it is. Labryan Ray looked a lot like the same story as Keeley.
Doesn’t mean he won’t transfer but I’m hard pressed to think that Henry is anything more than us picking an experienced DL up because we’re losing a few older guys at the end of this year to graduation/draft while also transitioning our scheme. We’re not panic picking up Henry because our fourth string edge is expected to transfer

KK is probably 99 percent a goner. Whether the JUCO is a “panic” move or not, he’s far from ideal at Bandit at his size.
Bottom line: the defensive front group needs an upgrade, and has for 3-4 years. We just haven’t been signing the caliber players needed there. It has always been a deficit market there.

Amen
The guy is just another overrated recruit that his NSD announcement will be the highlight of his career.
He can't get minutes with this current group of players and that doesn't bode well for him.
Let him turn in his jocks and socks.
