Steve Wilftong says we might be close to offering 2025 TE Vander Ploog from California.

Yes, that is his name, and he is currently committed to Washington.

I swear I came across a patient with that last name recently. I love Germanic names.

Something to consider regarding additional TE offers for 2025. I believe it was mentioned following his commitment that Kaleb Edwards could be a candidate to play another position. Considering the need for another additional DL or two is this class, that may be a possibility.

High school teammates '26 5* safety Womack (Bama target) and '25 3* DL London Simmons (Bama commit) will be on campus this weekend.

Watching those OL highlights and yearning for more got me to thinking - best OL film ever?

Doesn't it have to be Andre Smith?

Walter Jones tape for a couple years in the NFL was insane. He won every rep. Was so good.

Which reminds me how crazy it is that Shaun Alexander got to go from running behind Chris Samuels straight to Walter Jones and Steve Hutchinson.

Not that I've seen a comprehensive list of HS OL prospects, but the best ones I recall watching were Andre Smith and Jonah Williams.

A couple of players from way back when who had absolutely dominant college video were John Hannah and Dwight Stephenson.

That sort of talent on one team in the MISA is just not fair. Those are some small schools.

William Vlachos was unreal in HS. He was just short, so not as hyped. Greg Little's Junior highlights were comparable to Big Andre's. He was incredible.

Damn Kerry Murphy was so hyped. Reminds me of the hype of Alonzo Lawernce

Yes he was a man. I should have clarified that I meant HS film.

Living in Orange Beach and being a Foley high grad I got to watch Fluker a bunch in high school. Never seen a kid so much noticibly larger than everyone else on the field. Talk about a man child.
