Chad Simmons got the post FSU visit chat with Ty Haywood and put that RPM in for Alabama.

Does he have a commitment date set?

Honestly, I think these 4-2-5 defenses often use a lot of quarters, cover 3, or inverted cover-2 where one or both of the corners take a deep half like a safety. Legion of Boom was very C1/C3 heavy...so they did like those bigger corners who can play the deep 1 on 1 if a receiver takes them vertical and their coverage transitions from zone to man.
So you may be right and I'm forgetting that our corner body type may change a bit. Fewer Arenas and Cyrus Jones types are going to see the field more than likely.

That's mostly because someone 6' 4" with corner speed is pretty uncommon.

Alabama leads for Mississippi 5-star WR Caleb Cunningham.
Allegedly.
ETA: Chad Simmons put in a RPM for Cunningham to Alabama.

Mississippi recruit, who had Auburn as leader and a Chad Simmons RPM to Bama.
Wouldn't be mad if it happens but I like Meadows, Lockett and Moore (if we can get in on him).

Fong put in RPM for Cunningham as well and said at or near top for Meadows and Lockett. This LB group is going to be nasty.

The Crimson Tide have now taken the top spot for the five-star, who is eyeing a July commitment announcement.
“They are number 1,” Cunningham told Touchdown Alabama.
Alabama was able to show Cunningham he is wanted this weekend.
“It is resources there, the love and the coaching staff,” Cunningham said. “Bama is bama. They made me feel like one of their main priorities, and it is only two hours away from home. It’s a great place to be for my position as a wide receiver. They send guys to the league.”

It's highly unlikely we land all three of them, but if we did this class would rival the WR class of 2017.
Lotzeir Brooks is criminally underrated.

Sounds like we expect to possibly get three top 100 recruits this week.
5* CB Dijon Lee on Saturday (I believe that's his commitment date)
5* OT Ty Haywood (some saying there's a good chance he'll commit this week)
4* OLB Dawson Merritt
Could be another incredible recruiting week!
