My daughter goes to Baylor and I got to see him quite a bit. He is very good
My nephews go to Boyd Buchanon, albeit a smaller private school they compete against Baylor in some sports. Baylor is a juggernaut. Growing up I wrestled at McCallie and at that time it was a more prolific school in terms of athletics, but that has changed dramatically. My oldest nephew is a nationally ranked wrestler and has to wrestle those Baylor boys every year. They have a weight class open and 24 hours later they’ve flown some kid from Montana out to fill the roster. It’s a crazy program.

Mrs. T said she couldn’t be anywhere near him. Not cuz of Covid but he wouldn’t shut up

I don't think many, if any, coaches are reeling in top 10 classes consistently before they really make a name for themselves and are at a school where you can recruit at the highest level.
I doubt that Deboer is the machine that Saban was, but if he wins, I'm not too worried about his ability to recruit.

I'm curious why all these CBs and RPMs predicting Ryan Williams to Bama today. What do they know that we don't? Is it simply because he cancelled his Texas visit? I have always been under the impression that AU was the biggest competition in this recruiting battle, and he still have an OV to Lee County before his commitment date on Feb 9th. I figured we would see this type of influx of predictions after his last OV, and closer to his commitment date.

Saban sure wasn’t recruiting lights out until he got to LSU and it wasn’t until 2003 that he finally got his recruiting juggernaut going.

There is a wild rumor on twitter that he may announce tonight at the basketball game after the iron bowl trophy is awarded to the football team.

Yeah, unless his commitment came with a signed NLI... I wouldn't even care. He's been committed before
I don't believe that rumor though, because the kid has always wanted to commit on Feb 9th

Man I can see it now...up by 15 at half. Iron Bowl trophy gets awarded. Ryan Williams strolls out to Rick Flair's theme music all gumped out. The crowd goes WILD.

Good news. Amari Jefferson is a stud. Could be a legit star in KD's offense.
I hope we hang onto Rico Scott, too. He looks like a dynamic WR. Saw an interview with him from 4 or 5 days ago, he was looking forward to working with DeBoer and Grubb. He said he hadn't gotten to speak with them at that time due to their contracts not being finalized, though.
