I doubt many schools would be interested in him, with the problems that he would be bringing along as baggage. I think his best opportunity is to stay here, and sort this stuff out.

Goes without saying that addressing the OL in the portal just became important.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why Saban said in his presser yesterday that they're actively searching for OL in the portal (it doesn't seem like there any good options left unsigned).

I don't think there was any doubt he was running from his problems. With social media today that is almost impossible.

We will see how it goes. The Oline situation is weird. Favour was a long term project from a immediate impact situation he doesn't hurt though we need depth it sounds like. Pritchett has a Misdemeanor C which carries 3 months or a 500 dollar fine before any plea. He isn't going to impacted much other than whatever team punishment he gets.

Feels like we have a lot of developmental projects in the Oline room from the last two cycles.

When Saban spoke about experience feels like he has had eyes for the portal but there is not a lot out there. Maybe Percy Lewis-MSU or
Jaylen Nichols-south Carolina. would be options? Damn just saw Kiyuanta Goodwin back in the portal .

I just want to secure a center next year pretty please.

I would be fine with the towel boy playing C if he could snap the ball on-time and directly to the QB. Seth's issues this year have been close to 'season ruining'

Retiring.

Got one child graduated, one is a Senior and the youngest is a Sophomore. I promised we wouldn't move during their high school years so I took a position that guaranteed us staying here until she graduates.

I can literally retire a week later.

ToD, I know you don't want Daniel Hill. Any upside to him?

Looks like he may have good hands. Could help us be more, multiple by slotting in a few spots.

He’s an intriguing prospect. But he might be a jumbo athlete more than anything. And those never seem to work out.

That missed snap against Auburn should’ve ended our playoff hopes absent an all-time play.

Call me crazy but if Saban feels like he needs to pull a starter at OT from the portal, I really can't imagine Bama not ending up with one. Who wouldn't want to immediately step into a potential starting role for a team that has a really good shot to win it all again next year? And the track record of draft picks from Bama speaks for itself. I guess we will see. I realize NIL plays a factor now that didn't exist before.

We may be talking about the same thing here but it sounds like he is looking for someone who is ready to push for a starting job (possibly win it) but understands they may end up second in the rotation in case someone gets hurt or doesn't perform.

I am sure he would take a clear starting caliber guy (though everyone has to compete) but it felt like he was saying we need someone with experience to provide depth. With that being said if he is looking for an instant impact guy he probably isn't in the portal yet.

That's what I saw with Hill and Baugh. They both look and move like guys who struggle to find a position and end up at "H-back" because they're too small for TE or LB, too slow for RB or WR, and the staff doesn't have anywhere else to stick them.

We definitely should be looking for an OT starter in the portal. Pritchett's situation is a mess. He may end up being removed from the team due to the facts as they come out. Even if he doesn't end up removed from the team, he might not be locked in to be a productive player due to his legal proceedings diverting his focus away from improvement as an athlete.

Dude Tony Mitchell is on the team. Unless you know some facts we don't this isn't going to impact much.

Alabama players have done worse and remained on the team. This is a non issue from Alabama's presective.

Any good lawyer will get this case thrown out.

Right. I expect him to be on the team. I wonder how the legal proceedings may affect his focus on improvement. He needed to work on things to shore up the RT position. Especially in weight room.

I get it might not work out but I am assuming we got to make lemonade and take a second back.

I am assuming that Hill we be signed by the end of the ESP and announce Jan 6th unless something else happens.

What ever happened with J'Marion Burnette, just not a fit, no interest, NIL?

Damn stinks we missed on Kewan Lacy.
