Or he just prefers Bama and doesn't care if he gets a little less from us. You're kidding yourself if you think they can't pay whatever they want. Jimmy Rane would hand Freeze a blank check if he said he needed it.

Guys maybe I was dreaming but I thought I saw last week where tide100.9 put out a notification that Williams shut down his recruitment. Is that correct because I can’t find that link any more

Oh he absolutely probably does prefer Alabama. Don’t get me wrong. But everyone has a price. And the fact that aub hasn’t hit that price, tells me all I need to know. You can think whatever you want about yellawood beta male Jimmy, but he is still paying off 3 coaches on top of Hugh’s salary, their bball NIL, and keeping the players they have committed that are worth a shite. That’s a lot of dough buddy boy.

A lot of baseless assumptions in this post.

You don’t know any of that to be true.

We’ve talked about it before but guys like Proctor took less to come here. He’s still getting a big pay day. Life changing money for most families. And he gets to play where he wants.

Would you personally take $ 500,000 to play for Bama or 1 mil to play for Auburn? Barn is offering more but then you’d actually have to live there and play there…

Elite prospects know the real money is in the league.

If that was the case, then Walter Nolen and every other insanely high profile recruit would just pick Alabama by your logic. Kids are not adults. You’re an idiot if you think that kids want to just live in Tuscaloosa, AL. You either have to be born into it or you have a mature business sense (not common in most kids). The reason Alabama was so appealing prior was the ticket to the NFL. Now kids take a pay cut going into their rookie year if they’re top 5% in CFB. NIL and collectives are the bank roll for a college’s success going forward. The winning, tradition, and college life are great things, but you aren’t thinking things through from a perspective that a lot of these kids come from middle class to poor families. Especially in this economy. Don’t be so dense and think the new portal way and recruiting is the same as what it was even last year. It’s not.

He’s hanging out with a bunch of clowns… probably showing them his award because AU players rarely see awards

I am sure you have a nice collection of Milles and Audemars just not sure that is the interest for Auburn recruits. Unless you are Demarcus Riddick and I stand corrected. And if you are you should flip to Bama and the Rolexs are in the mail .

Not a Rolex fan by any means. Nothing wrong with them but prefer a different look.

But yes I agree I doubt the majority of recruits would spend very much on a watch.
