This Pam is a knock off. I wear it and like it more than the others. It has a legit swiss movement so honestly if I were buying one I would find one of these.

Are you just going to slowly incorporate larger and more deadly weapons into your photos . You going to have a Blancpain laying on a railgun in a few pages .

Wasn't the pic of the fake watch I meant to post. I replaced it lol. I usually take those pics to post in a knife group I'm in. Here's another lol.

I cannot remember which jeweler, but the IWC I got was a preowned I bought at the Lennox Mall. It was near the Montblanc store. I like the look of Montblanc but have to be careful because their watches tend to focus on the aesthetics and not high-end movements.

Agree on montblanc. I Really like the look of some of them and thought about getting one to go with my montblanc pens, but decided against once I researched the movements. If you remember the jeweler where you got the IWC, please post. I go to midtown Atlanta for business every few years.

Had a pre-owned Cartier briefly. Wife’s choice.

My dream watch…just too expensive for me to get comfortable. I can rationalize all of my current watches/purchases. Hard for me to rationalize paying more for a pre-owned watch than a new car. I do think of them as investments. Especially my sub. I could sell it for $4 grand more than I paid for it 10 years ago. Paid $8,500 new about a decade ago. Could get $12.5 for it on secondary market.

You guys got me hyped… saw a bunch of chatter and assumed we landed someone. I hate you all, and the watch you rode in on haha

Alright. Back on track.

Anyone else a little nervous about Ryan Williams taking a picture with all of the Auburn recruits at the Alabama-Ms all star game? All of the Auburn commits at the game plus RW. I wouldn’t put it past the barn to go “all in” on getting Williams
To make a splash in recruiting. Like Freeze did at Ole Miss his second year that alerted everyone that they were cheating.

You would rather talk about a teenager trolling for attention than members discussing their timepiece collection?

I miss the old megathread where we just talked and off-topic wasn't frowned upon

Alright since Ystar doesn’t want recruiting to be the main focus in a recruiting thread what should we talk about now?

Shark week in December? Crypto?

How much you love or hate Pat McAfee?

Whoa whoa people here already hate me, you want them to burn me at the stake?

It was just musings, I'm not trying to force anything people don't want

I posted a question about Ryan Williams which got shite on because it wasn’t a sunshine pumping post. Wasn’t doom and gloom either, but an attempt to get back on topic and hoping somebody had some insight.

Shark week - used to be must see TV for me, But the quality has declined significantly over the past few years.
Crypto - will ultimately crash imo. Not going away, but will be winners and losers imo.
McAfee - he got on my nerves initially and wish he would stop wearing wife beaters, but overall he’s growing on me and i hope he’s back next year.

I’ve been trying to think of a way to tastefully lay my Patek over my ICBM silo since the watch discussion started. The scaling is all off though.

The mega thread is what got me hooked reading this site four or five years ago. I hate having to switch threads all the time. But I know I am in the minority and I don’t really know anyone to add information so I just appreciate any discussion we have. But back in the early nineties I had a tremendous connection, but thanks to Bob Bockroth, (spelling), I have no one now I can speak to on the inside.
