Looks like we didn't push very hard for him.

Apparently Auburn didn't either.

Guessing Oregon lands him.

Grimsley's rankings are all over the place:

Matter of fact, a lot of prospects have similar disparity amongst the services this year.

I'd venture to say it probably has something to do with On3 stealing the top talent evaluators from their competitors.

Just saw Grimsley will be turning 19 this Fall.

His highlight reel shows he has a 4.5 GPA so maybe he got a late start in school.

Kids are getting held back in 8th grade more and more now to help get better scholarship offers. That's probably the case with him.

GREAT news! Love his length, physical style, and upside. Rodney Orr seems to be extremely high on him as a huge upside guy as well.

Alabama keeps getting top tier prospects out of Florida and Tampa in particular. One reason why I think that we scheduled USF. More exposure for the program.

KJ Bolden?

I can’t see why 4 of the top 6 safeties would all go to UGA.

Surely we flip Woodward and may get Bolden right?

If Kirby runs the same defense as Saban, then there are two safety spots, star and money positions. Four safeties on the field at the same time can easily be done.

Star is a nickleback, not really a safety but a corner. You could plug a safety/LB hybrid there but but you still need decent coverage skills.

I'd be surprised if Kirby took four safeties solely to fill Star and Money, i'd think he would be more likely to rotate a corner in. Heyward looks more like a corner than a safety though, 5'10 with track speed

I have read Auburn and Alabama passed because of attitude and off the field stuff.
