I highly doubt he still holds a committable offer. Best of luck to him.
I agree here because I had seen nothing for our side or sites that Davis would be a part of a future class.
It is sad that UT will think this is a big recruiting win for them but I am not sure he would have seen the filed at UA.

LINK ]Jordan Davis backs off Alabama pledge (BamaOnLine)
quote:
One-time Alabama signee turned junior college Crimson Tide commit Jordan Davis has reopened his recruitment, he announced on Twitter Saturday morning. "I just really need to focus on myself and not the media nor schools," Davis told BamaOnLine.
Davis was a part of the Tide's 2018 signing class before not qualifying academically and having to go the junior college route. The 2020 pledge recommitted to Alabama earlier this fall after enrolling at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi. Recently, Davis talked about his hopes to eventually make it back to Tuscaloosa.
“Now that I’m actually seeing how the football life is, now that I’m seeing how my life really should go, because I’ve really been fighting obstacles throughout this football stuff, behind the scenes, behind the lights, behind the stars, I’ve been fighting other stuff besides football. And I was giving people reasons why I was committed there, why I wanted to commit there, but now I honestly see my purpose of why I’m going to Bama.”

“When I first stepped foot down here I was in denial,” Davis said recently said about the junior college life. “I was like I’m not supposed to be here. But being down here at JUCO, a lot people have changed on me. People I thought were there for me weren’t really there for me. People ain’t really been here for me, but that just gave me another reason to keep on pushing myself. It’s been real hard. You’ve got to push yourself down here because if you don’t push yourself, you’re either going to fold or you’re going to quit. Is football really for me? That’s how much JUCO will really hit you.
The former Under Armour All-American was rated the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and the No. 108 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
This past week, Davis reported offers from programs like Mississippi State and Tennessee. The former 4-star recruit had offers from 16 programs coming out of high school.
He originally committed to Alabama in December of 2016 and was a big contributor in terms of recruiting others to Tuscaloosa. Now star freshman Jaylen Waddle said throughout his recruitment that Davis was the one recruit who reached out the most to him throughout the process.
Alabama's 2020 class currently ranks No. 2 in the nation behind Miami, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.
The Tide has hit the state of Alabama hard in the cycle with four of its seven pledges from within the state, including the No. 1 player in 4-star defensive tackle Jayson Jones.

That decommitment tweet was cringe worthy. I'm hardly the spelling and grammar police because mistakes are easy to make typing on a cellphone...
.... but dude doesn't know the difference between "to" and "too".
Damn man.

What happened to all the commits and flips the baypu crybabies were supposed to get today. Seems pretty quiet. Didn't they say one was supposed to commit on gameday?

I guess they thought Taulia was going to be the flipper? Eaux took him to midfield before the game.
Wonder if he actually has interest in LSU?

He has the LSU visitor ID on. So he was making a recruiting visit I guess. I seem wierd that he would visit for that game. I really don’t care for it.

I’m sure I shouldn’t be nervous but I am.. coach O at the highschool game and then him walking out to the 50yrd line with coach O. He was the VIP visitor for coach O. They did go to different schools growing up

Coach O has been doing too damn much of late. Just too much for a head coach at one of the best football programs in the country.

How do things get better for L8U, their lone qb commit is at best, the 4th best qb in Alabama.
