I don't think it'll help LSU get Ishmael. What will Eaux do when Rodney wants to sign LSU's NLI in Dec while Ishmael waits until Feb to sign? Eaux said Rodney's offer is based on his own merits. So, if Eaux doesn't let Rodney sign before Ish, it'll prove he lied. And if Rodney signs with LSU first, Ishmael is not obligated to sign with LSU.

Chalk it up to a lack of awareness or possibly 'negative recruiting' but for a guy like Dax Hill or any other student-athlete with daily communication/ 1-on-1 mentorship and personal access to someone who commands the level of respect Saban does from global business leaders is something Michigan or any other school surely can't match, academics aside.

To be honest in the end I do not think it has anything to do with academics, location, or whatever in the majority of these kids being recruited who end up elsewhere. For UA I think it has to do with are you willing to put the time, effort, and commitment required to succeed at UA. These recruits are told this upfront and I have yet to hear a recruit say anything was ever sugar coated regarding our program.

I think some just want an easier path to see the field and maybe get to the NFL. Most are treated as royalty in HS and want that as well in college. They do want to have to put the work in but that is why at UA guys like a J Carpenter and others get drafted not just the top players.

Saw a couple people on BOL saying rumors that Pickens was going to decommit.

Has Q Crouch ever visited UA or at least in a while? I swear S Wiltfong over on the UT sites gets them excited by saying it is either UT or UA for Crouch with them leading only to get them excited about beating us for a 5 star recruit. I have seen very little from him regarding UA. So was just curious.
