Another nationally-recruited prospect from Amite High, four-star athlete Devonta Lee could play multiple positions and provide impact ability at the high-major level. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Lee is ranked No. 121 nationally and No. 6 among the country's 2019 athlete prospects. He is No. 6 overall in the state of Louisiana for his class. Like Sopsher, LSU is the clear leader on the 247Sports Crystal Ball with all but one of the 21 forecasts made. Alabama got the other pick back in February.

Just kidding.
Still not 100%, but I've decided after last year, not to worry too much about recruiting.
I think there's just too many coaches negative recruiting against Saban for Bama to get back to #1.
Just as long as we stay top 5, I'll be happy.

What happened with Sopsher? A couple months ago the board was all but certain he was ours. Then, overnight it seemed, all talk of him vanished. Now it's basically a concession he's Bayou bound. Is the offer to Rodney by Eaux too much for us to overcome?

Eaux said Rodney's offer is based on his own merits. So, if Eaux doesn't let Rodney sign before Ish, it'll prove he lied. And if Rodney signs with LSU first, Ishmael is not obligated to sign with LSU.
Is the offer to Rodney by Eaux too much for us to overcome?

I think he is LSU bound.. even he said he wanted to play with his brother. The year LSU is having helps also, I really think we miss on him and Lee. Too much LSU in them to overcome. Maybe if Coach O was getting fired..but not with the year he is having

"Forbes Magazine placed Nick Saban high on it's list of the World's 50 Greatest Leaders of 2018.
Forbes put the 66-year-old Saban at No. 12 on its list, ahead of Apple CEO Tim Cook (No. 14)."
Chalk it up to a lack of awareness or possibly 'negative recruiting' but for a guy like Dax Hill or any other student-athlete with daily communication/ 1-on-1 mentorship and personal access to someone who commands the level of respect Saban does from global business leaders is something Michigan or any other school surely can't match, academics aside.

There's still a lot of football to be played. What if LSU loses to UGA, MSU, Bama and ATM and finishes 8-4 (4-4), 5th in the SEC West?

Then we get him...lol or I hope we do. His relationship with his brother does scare me though. They are very tight and with coach O being a D-line coach and really good recruiter. We are on the back end I feel..Im no insider..just reading his comments.

To be honest in the end I do not think it has anything to do with academics, location, or whatever in the majority of these kids being recruited who end up elsewhere. For UA I think it has to do with are you willing to put the time, effort, and commitment required to succeed at UA. These recruits are told this upfront and I have yet to hear a recruit say anything was ever sugar coated regarding our program.
I think some just want an easier path to see the field and maybe get to the NFL. Most are treated as royalty in HS and want that as well in college. They do want to have to put the work in but that is why at UA guys like a J Carpenter and others get drafted not just the top players.

I don’t think we’ll ever know. Kid might just like their colors more.
FWIW, Kevin Hagan said this morning that Kid wanted Bama but both parents wanted Michigan.
No info on why parents preferred Michigan.
I’d been stoked to have him, but not too worried about us landing good safeties.
Hagan said Bama definitely wanted him badly so I’m not underplaying that but last Rivals update featuring stock up and stock down players featured him as stock down with a pretty rough review of his game play this season.

I saw on the rant that Derick Hunter current 4 star commit to FSU just released a top 5 with us in it and no FSU.
Jumping ship 3rd game in. Hopefully that is a sign for Thib.

Bone was GHS show this morning -
He says Hellam, Williams, and Turnage are all considered safeties, and unless Hill changes his mind they are done at safety.
Staff wants one more corner.

Has Q Crouch ever visited UA or at least in a while? I swear S Wiltfong over on the UT sites gets them excited by saying it is either UT or UA for Crouch with them leading only to get them excited about beating us for a 5 star recruit. I have seen very little from him regarding UA. So was just curious.
