Yeah, it seems super slow in regards to recruiting.
Derrian Brown, RB from Buford, GA is trending to Texas. He was on of the guys on our board behind Trey Sanders.

LINK ]DE Kris Bogle setting SEC official visits
(Swamp247-VIP)
4-star OLB Khris Bogle 6-5/220 FL hudl
National ranking: #4 WDE; #59 player.
Tenn OV Apr 20
Bama UV June 22
ATM OV Sep 8 (vs Clemson)
Tenn UV Sep 15 (vs UTEP)
Ole Miss OV Sep 22 (vs Bama)
Bama OV (tentative) Sep 29 (vs ULL)
Oregon (tentative 5th OV)
“I love Coach Kool... If he had stayed at Miami, I would probably be committed by now. I talk with the coaches a lot, Coach Kool, Coach Panunzio, Coach Tosh. So, I just want to get up there. If you play, you’re going to the NFL... that’s what I like.”
Decision: “Probably late signing day.”
ETA: Bogle's Champions Cookout visit blew him away. If Bama misses on Thibo they might push and land him. If not, he'll probably go to Miami.

The question I have is why not push for him now? I get we have only so many spots and a lot of players up in the air but I would be happy with Bogle even if it meant not getting Thibs. Thibs is number 1 for a reason but Bogle is damn good. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and all that.

Well, Bogle said Bama's coaches are talking to him regularly, and he's going to officially visit. If Bama loses confidence in getting Thibo maybe they'll try to close sooner with Bogle.
ETA: Yes, Bogle is very very good. Add 15-25 lbs and he'll be even better.

South Florida has been damn good to Bama. I hope this continues and we get Bogle.

Bogle got that Terrell Lewis look.
I'd take his pledge in a heartbeat, and then do a backflip.

Why don't we take bogle, maybe get thibo, we seem to get to slow play players and they go elsewhere

You would think we learn from this last year???

Man this hurts situation is toxic. I’ll say this Saban will have some choices to make...

Sort of came out of left field. Completely unnecessary for it to have happened. The plan has been to play them both early on, as we wouldn't likely be challenged much until well in the season. But it's obvious who would eventually take the reins. After this nonsense, who knows what will happen?

Well at least now he can channel his bad behavior through arson and everybody will be ok with it.

Our top LB targets situation:
Linebackers (5-6)
4* ILB LINK ]Shane Lee 6-1/240 MD hudl
5* ILB Nakobe Dean 6-0/215 MS hudl
4* LB LINK ]King Mwikuta 6-4/232 GA hudl
4* OLB LINK ]Kevin Harris 6-4/218 GA hudl
5* OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux 6-5/235 CA hudl
4* ILB Henry To'oto'o 6-2/210 CA hudl
4* OLB Khris Bogle 6-5/220 FL hudl
4* LB Mohamoud Diabate 6-4/215 AL hudl
There's not room to take more than 5-6 LBs. We need ILBs more than OLBs, especially two ILBs who can play early (Lee and Dean). Harris, Thibo and Bogle are OLBs. Mwikuta and Diabate can play both. If Bama gets Dean (#1 ILB), they might feel they've covered ILB needs well enough that they'd then want Bogle and Thibo both, since they're both so good. But if they miss on Dean, they may want to get To'oto'o (ILB) and Diabate (I/O) and only one more OLB (Thibo or Bogle).
