You hearing any rumblings on Eric Henderson for DL coach? A little bit of smoke -- see coaching search thread here,

Now that i’ve talked about how much i love Jalen I can say this:

although i’m 40 I feel like he and i have somethings in common - for instance, i run to the bathroom to only miss the toilet.

I’m still surprised by Malik Langham signing with Florida. He was considered a done deal to Alabama. I have heard he was upset by one of the Alabama assistant coaches missing a scheduled in-home visit. I don’t know if it eventually pushed him to Florida, but I do know Nick Saban was not happy.

Posted this in the DL coach search, but I guess it is relevant here as well. Sounds like Dunbar did Bama no favors on the recruiting trail.

The worst recruiter of the Saban era.

Dunbar wasn’t a great recruiter but I would be shocked if this is what changed the kid’s mind.

I think it’s far more likely that we somehow/someway overplayed our hand with him.

Nevertheless, Dunbar heading back to the NFL is probably a better fit for all parties. However, I still appreciate his time here - regardless of the role he played in bringing them to us, I think he did a great job developing the guys he had.

A former player has mentioned that there's more smoke out there with Henderson. But really not heard any more than is out there on the message boards.

According to this former player, the guys on staff absolutely love Golding and think he's the next star assistant like a Kirby or Pruitt.

The only thing I am convinced regarding the info from Bone is he gets the majority of it from boards like this. Something will gain steam on aboard and the next thing he is posting it as if he has some inside info. Hence why he rarely post anything before anyone else.

Bone had a way to get good info when he worked for Kirk back in the day but I haven’t kept up or paid any attention to him since he left that network. The thing is there’s a lot of people who read these boards and take what they see as gospel. It’s comical when you see something you’ve said in jest being passed around on social media or on fan site blogs.
