I don't think so. He's been peer recruiting for Bama -- recently.

Godfrey is a tool, but he is plugged in on this shite, if Enos is going that is... interesting.

Jesus we are really cleaning house. Any chance we dump tosh too?

What if this all ends with us taking the entire Clemson staff leaving Dabo to retool by himself
Posted on 1/10/19 at 10:00 pm to AHM21
This feels like an overreaction

I have to wonder if this is an overreaction or there was some weird sarkisian like stuff behind the scenes where Saban didn't like what he saw as his future OC. (if this comes to pass, which so far Godfrey is the only one I've seen with any credibility on this)

I thought Miami already hired Applewhite?
Posted on 1/10/19 at 10:04 pm to Dubosed
Miami never confirmed they'd hired Applewhite.

You know this how? As opposed to working for any other highly successful coach or person?
I tired of this Saban runs people off narrative. We had pretty good continuity before we blew up with all this success

He also didn't say it's happening, just that Enos is a name to watch.

What do Alabama coaching exits mean to the program? (al.com)
Nick Saban expected to promote Dan Enos to OC for Alabama (al.com)
quote:
Alabama has yet to name Locksley’s successor publicly but AL.com on Dec. 11 reported the school is expected to promote quarterbacks coach (/Co-OC) Dan Enos to the position. Considering his experience in that position and the success that group experienced last season would make for a logical transition.

Alabama’s “One of a Kind Quarterback Whisperer” is expected to soon have a different title — offensive coordinator. Nick Saban is expected to promote Dan Enos to offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide, sources confirmed to AL.com...

Either that guy doesn't know anything or this is a play by Enos' agent to get more money.
Posted on 1/10/19 at 10:10 pm to Cobrasize
Godfrey has the sauces, someone on Enos side is leaking that
Posted on 1/10/19 at 10:11 pm to Cobrasize
The more names thrown out there the more site traffic they get. Agents float names and Miami might've reached out to guage interest, but that tweet certainly doesn't indicate that Enos is highly likely to become Miami's OC.

To his twitter account?
Posted on 1/10/19 at 10:13 pm to TidalSurge1
He does seem to have someone telling him that. SB Nation isn't ESPN when it comes to breaking stories but he's not putting that out there unless he's got someone telling him it's a possibility.

This is his thing too, he has been in on or broken numerous coaching moves this year. I know this is the recruiting thread, but Enos is a key part of that and someone credible saying that Enos might be looking around is huge.
