Under Armour All-America Game: Winners and losers

quote:

ORLANDO – Fans interested in a sneak peek of college football’s future had plenty to keep an eye on during the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game, which was the culmination of a week of practices in Orlando. The week was better for fans of some schools than it was for others, however, as the future looked brighter for certain programs. Below, we recap the winners and losers from the week that was at the Under Armour Game.

WINNERS

2. ALABAMA

Offensive line commitment Evan Neal, who was a late addition to the Tide’s commitment list, was the most consistently dominant prospect all week before turning in an average (by his standards) performance in the game itself. Defensive back Jordan Battle was also strong and shows an incredibly high upside. Defensive lineman King Mwikuta was great in flashes as well. And while he remains raw, showed the type of high-end athleticism that will serve him well during his junior and senior years in Tuscaloosa. None of Alabama’s commitments had a particularly awful week, so the floor for the Bama contingent was impressive as the celling.

Slim?

According to their dumb arse team rankings we hold a 51 point lead over UGA with 5 more commits.

It's because of this really f*cking stupid bonus point system they have in place. Rivals contrived as F*ck Bonus point scheme

I don't care where they rank us, but this is just straight up bad practice in terms of data evaluation and weighting.

UA game participants pick Alabama-Clemson winner

quote:

Under Armour All-America Game participants make their selections for Monday’s national championship game between Alabama and Clemson:

quote:

Jerrion Ealy, Ole Miss commit: I really don’t have a prediction. I don’t know.

Derrick Hall, Auburn signee: Of course I am not going for ‘Bama so it’s going to be Clemson 24-17.

Quinten Johnson, Michigan commit: Alabama because they have every dog in the country. They will beat them by 15.

Amari Kight, Alabama signee: I don’t really have a score but I’ve got ‘Bama.

Charles Moore, Mississippi State commit: Clemson 28-21. They’re so explosive. Only team beside Georgia that can give them a run for their money.

Owen Pappoe, Auburn signee: ‘Bama’s on fire. I got them winning by two scores.

George Pickens, Auburn commit: I feel like Clemson is going to take it all. Both quarterbacks are very good by I’ll take Trevor (Lawrence) over Tua (Tagovailoa) just off accuracy. I’ll say 27-21.

Zacch Pickens, South Carolina signee: ‘Bama. I don’t what (coach Nick Saban) is doing, but he always comes out with a win. I’m going ‘Bama.

Jashawn Sheffield, Auburn signee: I think ‘Bama wins big late. But it’s still War Eagle

Mazi Smith, Michigan signee: ‘Bama, of course, 24-21.

Jaquaze Sorrells, uncommitted: That’s not easy but I will say Clemson is going to come up short. They won’t lose by more than 10 points.

Brandon Turnage, Alabama signee: Picking ‘Bama 35-21.

Marcus Washington, Texas signee: I got Alabama. They’re winning by three touchdowns. I don’t think they can be beat this year.

Christian Williams, Alabama commit: 42-21 and ‘Bama’s defense and offense is going to be solid.

Jameson Williams, Ohio State signee: I’m taking Clemson. I think the young, slashing athletes are going to get it done and I feel like they’re one of the only teams who can ‘Bama down a couple of series.

Darnell Wright, uncommitted: I don’t really watch a lot (of college football), but Alabama is undefeated and Clemson is undefeated. I don’t really know.

I haven't seen BABAR in a while, but can someone with a Rivals account summarize this article?

Rivals250 DL Hayes has top three

It's about Nakobe Dean's teammate Josiah Hayes.

Yes know a former coach there who went into administration recently

I wouldn’t say he is close to the recruitment but he told me awhile back he thought he was all MSU . Could change though

Think he was sold on getting on the field earlier with Simmons leaving early
