Akeem Dent
There are five unsigned defensive backs in the Rivals250 participating in the Under Armour All-American Game and the top two are verbally committed to Florida State.
Five-star Akeem Dent, the No. 28 player in the Rivals100, has been committed to Florida State for a long time, but watch out for Alabama, Miami and a few others. Top 50 prospect Brendan Gant is also verbally committed to the Seminoles, and his commitment seems to be on more stable ground.
Rivals250 prospects Christian Williams and Quinten Johnson are verbally committed to Alabama and Michigan, respectively. Williams seems to be in wait-and-see mode, while Johnson and the rest of his teammates will sign in February at his high school.
Kaiir Elam, a Rivals250 defensive back, is not currently committed, and the top contenders for him are Florida and Georgia. Georgia had the momentum but it has swung toward Florida now that former Dawgs defensive coordinator Mel Tucker has taken the head coaching job at Colorado.

Fireworks on the outside
Speaking of the defensive backs, they are going to have their hands full with five-star receivers Theo Wease and George Pickens.
Wease, an Oklahoma signee, is an elite route runner with exceptional hands and the ability to make acrobatic catch look easy.
Pickens, an Auburn verbal commit, is a physical specimen who knows how to get open over the middle and specializes in taking the top off of defenses. He also has a huge catch radius, which makes it very hard for defenders to reach around him to knock the ball away.
Dent and the DBs will have to use every bit of their length, footwork and instincts to get the better of these two receivers.

Devyn Ford
There will be plenty of fireworks when the running backs meet the linebackers at the Under Armour All-American Game.
Three of the top five running backs in five-star Penn State signee Devyn Ford, Rivals 100 LSU signee John Emery and Rivals100 Penn State signee Noah Cain, along with Rivals100 Oregon signee Sean Dollars, the No. 2 all-purpose back in the Rivals100, will go against the best there is in the 2019 class this week.
The top two inside linebackers in the Rivals100, five-star Georgia signee Nakobe Dean and Alabama signee Shane Lee, are joined by the top two outside linebackers in the Rivals100, Auburn signee Owen Pappoe and Penn State signee Brandon Smith.

Keilan Robinson has pulled out of the Under Armour All-American game.
I don't know how to feel about this. I wanted to see him against other talents; specifically his speed.
However he seems to have injury issues. Wouldn't mind if he flipped to Maryland at all...

You definitely don’t want a RB with injury issues but I would think he probably wouldn’t be a work horse at Bama but a change of pace and WR out of the backfield player at Bama.
I like him and want him to stick - especially if we’re taking another RB. If he flips though I would pass on taking another RB.
Admittedly I like him somewhat based not purely on his play but based on him being quiet.
I guess I’ve become that old white guy, but Lord I love a kid who doesn’t act like the world revolves around them. Those kids also seem to stick at Bama and contribute at a higher percentage (though perhaps not as often at the superstar level of impact).

Does Robinson have recurring "injury issues" like Josh Jacobs had last season and like Tua has this season, or did he just have a recent injury?
Henry To'oto'o also can't play in the two all-star games he's committed to due to a recent injury.

I don't get your point here. Are you advocating ignoring injuries or something?

Has he had a previous injury which has kept hin out besides the foot fracture?
Keilan Robinson has this year.
So tell me how they are the same again?

So tell me again how Keilan's "injury issues" are different than Josh's and Tua's issues? Are you advocating ignoring their injuries or something? Or would you not mind if they transferred or got "processed" out of the program?
I'm an advocate of having faith in Coach Saban's, his staff's and the involved doctors' evaluations and judgements on injury matters.

Weird hill to choose to die on.
Did Tua or Josh Jacobs have multiple serious injuries in high school that brought up red flags??
Lol are you seriously comparing the physicality of high school football to college?
No shite you get hurt more often in college. Players get hurt more often in the SEC because the conference is far more physical with higher quality talent.
You really trying to say playing in the SEC is like playing high school football in DC in terms of injury?
If not what the frick are you even talking about and what is your point?

I didn't say or imply what you're insinuating. I stated my point clearly:
"I'm an advocate of having faith in Coach Saban's, his staff's and the involved doctors' evaluations and judgements on injury matters."
You dug yourself a hole and you keep digging it deeper trying to get out so you don't die in it.

Dude, I dug nothing. You made a stupid analogy using college player injuries to justify why you disagree with my stance about Keilan Robinson a high school player.
Neither of the players you mentioned suffered multpile serious injuries their senior season in high school to raise questions.
Both Tua and Josh injuries are happened in the toughest competition outside the NFL. It is normal to get injuries at such a level.
It is not normal to have two severe injuries which keep you out significant time when your a senior in high school and when that happens smart coaches will ask questions not ignore it and say "Tua and Josh got hurt too!!"

I deferred evaluation and judgement to "smart coaches" -- I did not say or imply Keilan's injuries should be ignored:
"I'm an advocate of having faith in Coach Saban's, his staff's and the involved doctors' evaluations and judgements on injury matters."
In contrast, you made your own judgement call on Keilan, essentially indicating that you'd rather he flip and not sign with Bama.
You can continue to ignore my clearly stated point, claim I said or implied stuff that I didn't and insinuate I'm stupid for it, if you want tho.

They are already on the roster, not being evaluated for a scholarship. The situations are not similar.

Dude just stop.
It's called a discussion and if you don't like them.. just stay out of them.
