Instead of signing an NLI, Hill might've signed an aid agreement that contained an escape clause for Hill if Harbaugh leaves before fall enrollment. Or they may have signed an agreement that Michigan would honor a potential request for release from his NLI, if Harbaugh leaves. Maybe his flip to Bama gave him the leverage to get Michigan to agree to such terms in order to get him to flip back to them. We'll see.
If Harbaugh leaves and Hill wants out of Mich there is no way that Mich would be able to handle the onslaught of negative pub that would ensue. They will let him go if the NCAA does not first.

With the question marks surrounding Keilan Robinson RB Washington DC and then the apparent "plan b" Deondrick Glass RB Katy, TX - and his status as "a slight chance he could still be a take if the numbers work out but don’t hold your breath. Announcing Jan 14." and 100% of the CB's showing for Okie State; if Robinson follows Locks to Md is this a sure flip and does Bama actually need another RB in this class?
Having added Sanders, and with Ford set to Redshirt in 2018 along with Slade Bolden (RB/WR/DB) seems RB depth could be set for 2019.
Najee Harris /(Josh Jacobs)should JJ stay
Brian Robinson
next group depending on how they learn to pass protect
Trey Sanders
Jerome Ford
Slade Bolden

If Keilan flips we should focus on other positions.

We have great depth at RB and we got our top target.

Anyways Merry Christmas to everyone.

Glass wants in badly, he just doesn't have the green light.

You are never as deep at RB as you think. Always take two if presented the chance.

You're talking as if RBs are QBs.

We are very deep there and we don't need to take two.

In fact taking two would probably hurt us next year when we should actually take two and the quality next year is much better than this year.

From the standpoint of transfers and early departures, RBs and QBs are similar these days.

If I'm not mistaking Slade is a slot receiver with him also playing DB if needed. I think he is only on the RB depth chart if needed but JJ would know more about that than me.

From what I remember we were taking 2 running backs in this class if they were the "right fit" skillset wise, but only take one outside of that. Sanders and Robinson are the right guys so we plan on taking both. I believe Glass was an option if Sanders went elsewhere but not as a substitute for Keilian. If Robinson flips we are likely happy with Sanders as the only back this year and we will look to sign multiple backs next year which we were likely going to do regardless.

Historically, seems the intentions of Saban has to take multiple backs:

2007: 2 & 1 FB
2008: 3
2009: 2 & 1 FB
2010: 1
2011: 2
2012: 2
2013: 4
2014: 1 or 2(Ronnie Clark)
2015: 1 & 1 Nonqualifier
2016: 2
2017: 2
2018: 1 or 2(Slade Bolden)
2019: 2 as of 12/25

Do want to note 2010 was the Lattimore/Dyer/Seastrunk cycle where Bama couldn't land anyone at RB. They could have had Gio Bernard, but he didn't fit their "style" at the time.

New Jersey is a state often loaded with top talent, and the Class of 2019 is ready to prove its worth at the next level.

Like Jabrill Peppers, Rashan Gary, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Jonathan Taylor in recent seasons, the Class of 2019 has some elite talent that will be ready to make an immediate impact in college.

Speaking of players like Peppers, Gary and Fitzpatrick, both Michigan and Alabama were back in the Garden State to sign some of the top players.

247Sports Composite: 5-star (0.9867), No. 3 SDE, No. 28 overall prospect

Evaluation: Thick but lean athlete with very little body fat. Carries 275 pounds like it's 230. Potential to be a very athletic-framed 300-pounder on the next level. Plays with good leverage with an explosive first step. Has violent hands and aggressive mentality. Has the temperament you want on the defensive line. Highly competitive. Physical tackler through the ball carrier. Possesses elite edge athleticism and freakish combine testing numbers. Also has versatility and strength to play inside. Sheds blocks and attacks double teams effectively. Pursuit speed is rare but effort needs to be more consistent on plays away from him. Upper tier Power 5 multi-year starter with first- or second-round potential.

NFL Draft projection: Second round
