I've watched enough smaller school Al football to know that the level of competition gets real poor. He is far superior athletically to the kids he faces on film, wonder how he did in camp if he went to any. If DJ williams goes to Auburn, Witherspoon honestly looks like an option, and then people won't be mad if we blueshirt Christian Williams.

Bama has the no. 1 class in the country. The class is absolutely filthy as it is right this moment.

Trey Sanders is one of the least important targets left on the board. If Bama misses it only makes their chances at landing a big time RB in the next class that much better.

With that said, I'm a bit surprised that all the folks that follow recruiting daily in this thread aren't a bit suspicious at how obvious Trey is making it look that he is favoring UGA when all these kids want on their signing day is a big surprise. I've been saying all week it looks exactly like Thibs recruitment, and I'm not shocked in the slightest if he chooses Bama.

There are three "gotta have" recruits left:

1. Neal
2. Toto
3. Sopsher

According to all available information Bama is in VERY good position for all three.

That leaves room for three more. According to what we know the other three should come from this group:

1. Battle
2. Dean
3. Sanders
4. Bogle
5. Wright
6. DJ Williams
7. Zipperer (yes, I'm still seeing his name mentioned behind the paywall)

Sounds like Battle will choose Bama. Pick any two left from this group, and how can anyone complain about this No.1 class ?

Hey Surge. Will the schools put out a list real time like NSD? Or will Twitter tell where they signed? Thanks again for ur hard work. I'm gonna worry bout it on the beach in Blue Mountain. In Saban I trust!

Keytide, don’t head east unless you still want to see a shitpile of debris. You’ll be ok until you cross the Hathaway bridge into PC proper but it goes downhill quickly and that’s 2 months after. We’ve still got a long way to go.

That is one of the fastest downvotes I've ever received . Kudos to whomever it was that did it.

I think the Sanders stuff is because people are more willing to accept losing a 5 star rb and so accepting it now makes it more fun if he commits to us, and less painful if he does pick bowlcut's team.

What about Devonta Lee? Seems like he wants in, but he may be on the outside.

He is playing 4a competition. It's not the best but not the worst. At this point, if we lose Sanders, I say take the chance. I'm sure there will be another under the radar type guy that pops up in January though

Call me crazy but I think Trey Sanders is still coming to Alabama.

Already conceding Sanders to UGA like some have is premature, imo. If Hank or Tim CBs him to UGA or there's a major run of UGA or UF CBs, that may mean he's informed coaches and it's leaked. However, if Rusty Mansell CBs him to UGA, some mods (who don't know anything) will just follow suit with him, even if Rusty hasn't learned what Trey's decision is before he announces on ESPN tomorrow.

I think a lot of the noise surrounding him is people reading into his twitter comments. Trying to judge what a kid is going to do based on their twitter comments, retweets, and pics is dumb. These guys want people tuned in when they commit, they want attention, so you can't take anything at face value.

I haven't heard of anyone with real proof that Sanders has told the UGA coaches anything.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Sanders chose us,actually him choosing Georgia is the shocking part. Still hoping its us.
That Witherspoon kid looks promising ,can't ignore speed and statistics like that. We should get him if at all possible. Speed is one thing that separates the elite from the good.

Like you all are saying, it gave me a bad feeling when Thibs was wearing Bama gear all last week prior to his commitment. Bc kids do that and build up the shock factor. I know I’m essentially just repeating what the other posters have said, but more times than not, these recruits aren’t tipping their hat on Twitter. I remember reading on here about Thib following more Bama players/recruits on Twitter than any other school.

Then you get a kid like Dean and he ain’t tipping his hat anywhere. At least to the general public. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

Essentially all RBs can run.

A major requirement for a Bama RB is can he - and WILL HE - block. Being a decent pass catcher helps too. Speed is the icing on the cake. Plain cake ain't much.

I'm originally from NA, but I've lost almost all contact there. I know nothing about witherspoon.

Going to be tight on numbers if intel is right on some big time recruits or ones higher on the board . Unfortunately it may just not be room for him

Lucky just CB'd Sanders to UGA and it looks like JC Shurburtt flipped his CB pick for Dean from Bama to UGA.

Bama has number 1 class right now.

Top three remaining targets:

1. Neal
2. Toto
3. Sopsher
