As for Luke Ford, from everything I’ve heard he’s taking a couple extra days at home over the holidays and then will be back in Athens after Christmas for bowl practice.
Y'all haven't started bowl practice yet?

Team Mississippi OL/DL 1on1s at the Alabama-Miss. All-Star Game
quote:
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The 32nd annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game kicks off Monday night in Montgomery's Cramton Bowl, but the work week leading up to that point is well underway for both sides. On Friday, each went to work during a two-hour session despite steady rain for the final 45 minutes of the practice session.
Just as the rain was picking up, the trench prospects were gearing up to go against one another for Team Mississippi, which may have the top position group on either roster with its star-studded defensive line group. Verbal commitments to Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others are lined throughout the decorated group, largely four-star prospects or better across the board. It didn't mean the offensive line, which has its share of SEC-level talent within it, was going to back down against the more talented group on paper. Even as the rain increased, it was an intense one-on-one session between each side.
As shown in the video above, watch the group work in the passing situations during what was the fourth practice of the all-star week, as the trench talents gets familiar with one another.
Offensive Linemen (in order of appearance):
No. 66 Coker Wright, Brookhaven (Miss.) High (Southern Miss verbal commitment)
No. 72 Bryce Ramsey, Gulfport (Miss.) Harrison Central (Ole Miss)
No. 74 Carson Williams, Forest (Miss.) Scott Central
No. 68 Charles Cross, Laurel (Miss.) High (Mississippi State)
No. 76 Caleb Warren, Louisville (Miss.) Nanih Waiya (Ole Miss)
No. 64 Matthew Williams, Horn Lake (Miss.) High (UAB)
No. 62 Jonathan Merritt, Meridian (Miss.) High
Defensive Linemen (in order of appearance):
No. 40 Jamond Gordon, Meridian (Miss.) High (Auburn verbal commitment)
No. 92 Byron Young, Laurel (Miss.) West Jones (Alabama)
No. 22 Nathan Pickering, Seminary (Miss.) High (Mississippi State)
No. 45 Zach Edwards, Starkville (Miss.) High
No. 93 Jaren Handy, Hattiesburg (Miss.) High (Auburn)
No. 95 Charles Moore, Louisville (Miss.) High (Mississippi State)
No. 42 Jalil Clemons, Starkville (Miss.) High (Tennessee)
No. 90 Jaylon Webb, West Point (Miss.) High
Monday's clash between Alabama and Mississippi's best will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. local time and it will be televised locally. 247Sports will be on hand for the entirety of the event, which has practices for both sides continuing Friday and through the weekend despite the wet conditions in the forecast. Last year Mississippi won one of the most lop-sided games in the 30-plus year history of the event, besting Alabama 42-7 on the campus of Southern Miss. This year's game is back in Alabama as the home team, which leads the all-time series 22-9 dating back to 1988, looks to get back to the winning side. Alabama has yet to lose in Crampton Bowl over the five times each side has clashed there.
The Mississippi defensive line will remain a storyline and the head coach for Team Mississippi, Henry Johnson of Clarksdale (Miss.) High, has been pleased with the early progress.
"They’re big, strong and fast and are showing a great attitude,” he said.

How did Kirby botch it? Fromm was dynamite down the stretch, he earned the majority of the snaps.
UGA fans have constantly bemoaned the fact that Kirby refused to install any sort of unique package for Fields ala 2006 Tebow and whenever he came into games when it wasn't mop up duty or a rent-a-win game the defense pretty much knew it was just going to be a read option run.
Personally I think the kid was probably being told what he wanted to hear as a recruit and expected to play a lot more than he did, so it would be no surprise to see him transfer, and since he didn't redshirt it would make sense that he's trying to pull a Barnett but going DII to do it instead of JuCo. That way he can try to enroll somewhere else next summer and be immediately eligible.

247Sports Composite update: Four new 5-stars in 2020
quote:
We are just days away from seeing which schools the majority of the prospects in the 2019 class will officially be attending when they sign during the early signing period, but the rankings updates from the recruiting industry this week focused on the 2020 class and resulted in some big moves in the 247Sports Composite for the current class of high school juniors.
The group of five-star prospects in 2020 grew by four and eight prospects added a fourth star in the recruiting industry-generated ranking. Damascus (Md.) High defensive end Bryan Bresee remains in the No. 1 spot.
Mount Juliet (Tenn.) High defensive end Reggie Grimes (No. 34 to No. 23), Washington (D.C.) St. John’s College High receiver Rakim Jarrett (42 to 27), Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines tight end Darnell Washington (35 to 31) and Lakeland (Fla.) High running back Demarkcus Bowman (37 to 33) moved up into the expanded 247Sports Composite five-star range following this week’s updates.
The early leaders on the 247Sports Crystal Ball for the new five-star prospects include Alabama (Grimes), Ohio State (Jarrett), UCLA (Washington) and Miami (Bowman). Six of the current 34 five-star prospects in the 2020 class have already committed to a school. Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and USC each have one five-star prospect committed in the class.
Alabama has the most total commits in the 2020 class with 11 and sits atop the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings.
Among the many moves in the 2020 247Sports Composite was the addition of a fourth star for eight prospects. Below is a look at the prospects making a move in the ranking this week.

Roydell looks like a beast, have to wonder what happened there.
Fleming is up there with Julio/Ridley for WR I really want.

Buddy of mine just showed me the pic of Bowles and his dad in Bama unis with Saban ala UF’s gimmick. His father was in full pads. I guess this is a thing now
Sidenote: Tanner Bowles’ dad looks like he could play OL for us. Whole damn family is huge

Early Signing Period Announcement Guide
quote:
The Early Signing Period for college football kicks off Wednesday, with a 72-hour window open for players to make their decisions official with a signed letter-of-intent. After more than half of the 2018 class signed during the early period last year, around the same amount is expected to put pen to paper this year as well. Many of the class's biggest names are already committed, but one thing is for sure: There will still be hat ceremonies, commitment videos and plenty of televised announcements.
Here’s our guide on when and how to watch announcements from the nation’s top players (all times Eastern), which kick off in earnest on Monday.

I think that shite is hilarious. I want to see moms in pads and jerseys next.

He is a huge UF fan and I had thrown him some shade about the player’s dad being in full pads so when he got the pic he came over to my desk to show me and sort of rub it in lol

I’ll see if he’ll send it to me but I doubt it.
I found the pic from his visit a while back though. His brother played TE for Louisville I believe
That’s their dad on the right

Early Signing Period: Five prospects that could flip
quote:
The Early Signing Period has really become like National Signing Day, so Dec. 19 is a big day for prospects, college programs and fans across the country. The dead period is in effect and most decisions have been made by those signing early, but there will be some that are committed to one school today that could sign with another school Wednesday.
We take a look at five who could flip.

Justin Eboigbe
Eboigbe is committed to Alabama, and he was in Tuscaloosa over the weekend for his official visit, so the Crimson Tide look to be in line to hang on here. At one time, Tennessee had some real buzz. Miami had him on campus for an official visit just over a week ago as well, so the Hurricanes have not gone away. Eboigbe is saying all the right things about Alabama leading up to Dec. 19, when he will announce his final decision, but he is still one to watch.
I think he's solid FWIW.
