Hmmm, just said he hoped to have a QB join that he couldn't commit about right now.

It's getting too friendly up in here.
"Can Waddle play DT?"
- that one guy who been bitching all day

I’m wondering who this QB is that Saban can’t comment on?

From a quick scan, uncommitted DTs
D'Andre Litaker - Murfreesboro, TN (6-2, 285)
Alfred Thomas - Montgomery, AL (6-1, 269)
Dashaun Mallory - Bolingbrook, IL (6-3, 260)
- Litaker was a Tennessee commit that I assume Pruitt parted ways with. 2 knee surgeries in the last 2 years.
- Thomas' last 2 official visits were Tulane and Tennessee State
- Mallory, from his page, seemed to be set on Michigan State, but he's holding off until April.

I remember several years there was criticism of some of the staff (Cristobal, for one) that they were recruiters and not great at the coaching/development part of the job. I guess we won't hear that sniping anymore.

He did imply that there is a lot of negative recruiting going on.

Pure speculation on my part but I suspect a lot of it is coming out of Athens.

Can't retire until the job is finished. DL and QB still possible. Could be a long wait.

Anybody else get the feeling Saban was talking about NPF..? He seemed pissed about the Tackle negative recruiting pitch

I dont know. To me it almost sounded like it may be a grad transfer, at least for the QB he was referencing.

Saban is too. He couldn't hide it when talking about Waddle during his press conference.
