And how many 7 straight #1 classes did they or how many total for that matter?

Saban has been working above the bar for a long time. This year he is on level with a few others. But you and many others make it out like he dropped to the back of the pack because we are not going to finish #1.

And this shite you guys are posting that Saban is done or whatever with the melt over this possible finish is worse then anything Sean has posted. Just go ahead and jump off the ledge at this point. I will drink a beer in remembrance.

Having a early signing period may have hurt us some. 2019 will be totally different for us

It baffles me. Some people love to be miserable.

Someone mentioned Snoop Dog earlier and yes he has always been a USC fan. That was a great video during the game he was live when we destroyed USC two years ago and was giving us props

Also - lets just keep this in mind when evaluating the actual players in this class. Not the size of it, the actual players themselves

Recruit Avg
2008 - 91.20 (#5)
2009 - 91.39 (#6)
2010 - 89.95 (#7)
2011 - 92.19 (#1)
2012 - 93.40 (#1)
2013 - 93.25 (#1)
2014 - 93.65 (#1)
2015 - 93.73 (#1)
2016 - 92.54 (#1)
2017 - 93.76 (#2)
2018 - 92.78 (#4) (w/ Waddle)

We missed on guys and signed a smaller class, but our talent level in it is Top 4. For a "bad year", that isn't exactly miserable and filled with 3-stars. This is a better class than any we signed from 2007 to 2011 talent wise, and it is also better than 2016.

Most have been sad and whiny. We need to make them take lessons from LSU fans because it's an art form with them and entertaining. This is just whiny and pathetic.

Sky ain't falling, but we missed on some guys today (possibly more). Nothing wrong with being disappointed, but the new coaching staff was at a major disadvantage for this class once they arrived. Let's see how they do with next year's class before jumping off the cliff.

It's scary that some folks can't even admit that this is a down year for us, as far as recruiting goes. It's pretty obvious but there are people either in denial or flat out brainwashed.

Saying it's a down year isn't saying the class is bad.

We've had a historic run of #1 clases in a row. This was a down year -- for reasons already discussed. Even with the misses, we still addressed our biggest needs -- DBs, DL & LB -- pretty well. This down cycle shouldn't hurt us, as long as we sign a great 2019 class.

Saban has revamped the staff very well with solid young coaches who are also very good recruiters with good recruiting ties.

If we can't fill all our spots with top talent, I hope we just save them instead of taking slaw. Instead, we could add a few grad transfers for one year. Then could backcount a few 2019 EEs or Jucos and sign 25 more besides them.
