Stoutland was a pretty bad recruiter. Bama's OL recruiting from 11-13 was pretty bad.

Dunbar is kinda reminding me of him. Great on field coach, but bad recruiter.

Also wish we could sign one so Saban could name a starter coming out of spring. Now he may have to drag it out til August so they won’t transfer but that could backfire as well

Oh yeah. That could absolutely backfire, with Tagovailoa heading out, and frankly, I wouldn't blame him, considering the last offensive coordinator wanted to play him earlier last year, and Saban pulled rank to play Hurts instead.

I was fine with it then and fine with it with Dunbar.

Cristobal was a gifted recruiter, but they are still trying to coach the softness out of the OL from his tenure. He had less than 5 years of experience as an OL coach, no other Saban OL coach at Bama has had less than 10.

You need teachers at those spots, Mario was an anomaly...

Won’t be too great if two qbs transfer and we have the starter and the walk on Montana kid. Lol

Someone on the lsu board said Montana was one of the best tacklers he ever saw.

From a UT board but not sure where the article is from

“Alabama has made a very strong push," said Rush Propst, Peterson's coach at Colquitt County High School. "I don't think either one, Alabama or Tennessee, is a clear favorite as of Sunday afternoon. I think it's a dead heat right now, 50-50."

"As long as I've known Coach Saban, I've never seen anybody pick up the pressure more than he did on JJ as far as just trying to get him to change his mind or take his visits and see which one you like after the visits and make your mind up after you do that," Propst said. "So, I would think Alabama's in a very good position right now."

NSD I will take the over

To bump this does and avoid the Hurts/Tua discussion can anyone have an update regarding JJ Peterson since his coach says we are still in it?

Two won’t transfer but even if Jalen does and Barker walks on then we have Tua, Jones, Montana and Barker. Then next year if we can pick up both Taulia and the Great grandson of Coach Bryant then we are golden. Then shite will really get heated around here

I had heard of possible grade trouble for JJ. Rumors only so don't know? Read it on the internet so must be true!(:

Al Michael and Chris Collinsworth crying for that TD to be incomplete.

Such bias coverage

They have an explanation for why the Patriots should get every call and one for why the Eagles should get none.

His HS coach was quoted today saying it is 50/50 right now for JJ to UA or UT. That right now UA is in a great position to land him on NSD
