Maybe they cooled on him after it seemed as if he didn't give them anything to be excited about. These guys are the best in the business and know when a kid is playing around or serious
Kind of what I meant, maybe they both kind of said "nah" to each other and moved on. didn't mean it to come off as a negative but the writer made it sound a bit like "we didn't want him anyway"

Did the writer also do that with the LB'r in the same sentence? If so why 1 and not the other??

The best thing about their board right now is posters who believe Bama can't take anymore commits now and the ones reposting this pic:

Hey Bama3714, is this true:

William "Redfish" Barger says that Sark was out visiting Tua in Hawaii last weekend.
I've not seen Redfish post that online. He may have said something about it on Bams radio, but it's news to me, though.

This sounds a bit like sour grapes. Kid just won Gatorade player of the year in what is widely viewed as the best state for football. Maybe he cooled on Alabama too? There was a report out after his visit to Bama that he wasn't "wow'd" while on it.
Could easily have been a mutual parting
I'm just not sure how to make it more clear to you that we didn't arbitrarily decide to use "sour grapes" on Wade and not other guys like Browning, Stanford Samuels, and a few others that we've lost out on.
It's to the point that you're just going to believe what you want to believe. To heck with the evidence to the contrary,

Is this accurate?

Alabama gained its 25th commitment from the nation’s top-ranked junior college defensive end, Isaiah Buggs, on Tuesday afternoon.
The highly coveted recruit from Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. chose the Crimson Tide over LSU and others.
“Very proud of Isaiah,” MGCCC head coach Chad Huff told BamaOnLine. “From the time he came to Gulf Coast to where he is now he’s grown tremendously as a player, person and student. I always felt like Isaiah was tremendous athlete. God gave him some good talents. He’s used to them to the utmost to benefit him.”
Huff talked about what the Crimson Tide is getting in Buggs both as a player and a person.
“They’re getting a really talented football player,” he said. “He’s 6-4, 290 and can run and is strong enough to be an every down guy. Off the field he’s a tremendous worker in the weight room and in the classroom. They’re getting a complete player.”
Multiple members of the Tide staff had a hand in recruiting Buggs including Burton Burns, Karl Dunbar, Jeremy Pruitt and Nick Saban, who visited the four-star defensive lineman last week.
“I think of a lot of prayers,” Huff said what he believes made Buggs choose Alabama over LSU. “He’s been praying about the situation and I think he’s made the decision that’s best for Isaiah. At the end of the day it’s his decision. He felt like (Alabama) was going to be best for him.”
Huff has a long list of memories that have stuck out to him in his time coaching Buggs.
“I’ll tell ya, Isaiah starting off as a true freshman I remember his first game he started, he was in the backfield all night long,” Huff said. “I knew from that point forward this kid was pretty special. From the first moment he played. He’s had a lot of memorable plays and has been a very explosive player. He’s a kid that’s got unbelievable athleticism for his size.”
Buggs will have two years to play two seasons, and plans to sign with Alabama on Wednesday and enroll next month.
The Ruston (La.) native is rated the No. 1 junior college weak-side defensive end and the No. 4 overall junior college player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

So, uh, Isaiah Buggs is a 5-star on both Rivals and Scout.
