Don't know your insiders well enough to know if they have the homer tendencies of some places (cough cough) that think every commit loves their visit and it's always good news for the home team.

Bama's got a couple of guys at 247 - Watts in particular - who, while they support Bama, are pretty straight with recruiting info. If Watts says something, you can pretty much assume it was told to him directly from someone on staff. When he says the delay is bad for Bama then we'll know it is. That said, Bama does a really good job of prospect communication. Browning will have known for a while that Allen was a take (and they'll likely not play same position in college).

No offense we are talking about college football here not mainline academic only students. The only school in the Big 10 that sets a standard for entry requirements is NW just like Vandy in the SEC and both have exceptions for athletes as well just not used as much.

If you think OSU is recruiting academic geniuses to play football you are a fool especially with CUM as your head coach.

It does sounds like OSU made a great impression on his trip.
But also what I take from that is he wants Bama but parents or just mom wants OSU.
Most moms tend to always care about the total college environment for the student as a whole.
Not saying Bama did not make them feel good about all thee above on there official.
I really think it's about if he can get mom to give in or he decides not to disappoint her and go with OSU.
When you posted the other up date it was stated he was not into the visit at first.
But warmed up to it as it progressed.
That could mean his parents wanted him to go so he could have a solid reason to say what he
likes/ dis-likes about both to compare.

I think it's what they should have done as parents.
He should not be able to eliminated a top school without both being seen completely.

Im hoping he still picks BAMA.
But Moms don't loose to many of those recruiting battles.

I know Landon's peeps.
His Little brother should have followed big brother footsteps to Bama.
He could have used the discipline type program over fla.
He's now at Miami playing for Coach Cool (former DL coach at Mizzo).
He's one of the best in the game.But I still think bama program would have been better for little brother.

Dumbass move by O, offer a kid that he only has a week and a half to recruit and piss off your other commitments.
