From what I am told no. Not saying he is a rocket scientist either but his coach felt the new RB coach and new OC were going a different direction maybe smaller back. Said during the coaching changes it was over 3 months before they heard from someone at UGA.
Also if the UGA sites were right about grades they were only waiting for his spring semester grades from what they were saying and I would guess our staff did as well and why(if any concern) waited until July to get him on campus and take his commit.
The kid plays with a chip on his shoulder and I would not be surprised to see him jump in the rankings this fall

According to posters on tRant UGA barely contacted him because they didn't want him. That's childish as hell lol. Why not just tell the kid we don't feel comfortable taking your verbal with your grades the way they are.

From all I've read the last couple weeks seems like a huge misconception or overreaction over grades by some SEC staffs (maybe mainly UGA, not sure)
TW mentioned Emmons was really close with Bobo and decommitted after he left. Then the "bad grades" rumors started swirling around about him.
Judging from previous recruiting efforts Bama's staff seems to always take the approach of the challenge of a recruits talent is there and with Emmons it definitely is.

DMV is a term for the metro area of DC. Diggs is from Maryland, where you often hear the term, and Abdul is from DC. Sounds more like he's encouraging him.
