While I love you optimism on Fowler, there is no way a player with knees that have been shredded will be the first FB off the board.
Looking at our RB depth, it is a bit scary. There are so many talented guys returning that I don't know how we are going to get them all enough carries. I imagine after 2014, Yeldon will go pro, and Drake might follow. That would leave us with Henry, Jones, Tenpenny, and Scarborough which is still pretty intense.

SBB told the Rivals FSU reporter that he's 90% committed to Bama. So...there's that
Posted on 7/17/14 at 9:24 am to sarc
Apparently likes FSU's defense. From what I read on the FSU site though FSU staff didn't even attempt to embrace SBB. He was sitting off to the side while the circus revolved around Ridley.
Not the smartest move if you want to land Ridley IMO.

They do have the top safety in this class, another in Brewton, and they've told Westbrook they like him at CB and S. Plus their short term depth is less favorable compared to Bama. Even with Bama taking 3 to replace 3-4. Not even mentioning the possibility of Clark or Jones eventually shifting down.
They don't need SBB, and that may cost them. SBB hasn't exactly done anything to make him a must flip either, other than being a package with Ridley.

Yep, our Safety depth chart/distribution really got jacked up by Conner and to a lesser extent Hampton

I don't like the "90%" committed." Wonder what changed in his commitment. Could it be that he isn't excited that we seem to be pursuing any halfway decent db lately?

Especially coming a visit to UA unless I read that wrong. Ridley did not really seemed phased by the FSU visit.

Some don't feel as important when they are committed players, then they go on visits to other schools and get love(except at FSU apparently
).
He's looking at others, but I think it's just a case of feeling like yesterday's news and not being able to do much in camps. He did say he was 90% committed, but also said he was excited to get back to Bama and bond with the coaches and players.
I don't think it's anything worry about...

He probably just didnt want to seem like an a-hole to the FSU journalist. From some of the other reports, it seems like he wasnt getting a lot of love anyways, so why would he want to isolate himself even more by essentially closing his recruitment?
i'm not concerned by his 90% comment.

@Andrew_Gribble: Former Alabama QB Parker McLeod reportedly lands at Western Kentucky LINK
We play WKU in '16. It'd be interesting to see us take on the ginger although the great return of Star Jackson was a huge let down

FWIW, I asked Mike Farrell on Twitter about Kennedy and he thinks he's "all Bama." My step son goes to Wetumpka and he's saying the same thing.

Well in a recent interview he said he chose the school he did because of the atmosphere. When asked about what he liked most about Bama, he said "the atmosphere"

hopefully somebody who can keep their big arse still until the ball is snapped. also, somebody who doesnt strip our own RB of the ball (which is really Yeldon's fricking fault because how the hell do you get stripped by someone who isnt trying to strip you, but i digress)
