I don't think it's Carr though. He still has a couple of weeks before he decides. James Lockhart is close to announcing between us and A&M. Could be him.

I wouldn't complain if we got Barnett but I'd prefer Waller.

Ocean Lakes (Va.) four-star athlete Levonta Taylor was also invited. The 5-foot-1-, 170-pounder checks in as the No. 44 overall player in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite. Taylor is the No. 3 cornerback and No. 1 player in his home state.

I'd be fine with either, but would be shocked (in a good way) if we got Barnett.

I'm still kinda on the Sills bandwagon to be honest.

He's accurate. He has perfect mechanics. He's athletic.

I don't know what happened over the last 2 years (his stats indicate that he didn't play much) but he was phenomenal as a Freshman.

I know there is an issue with his dad (which I believe contributed to his limited snaps as a Sophomore and Junior), but he's good.

Barnett has a Tebow wind-up. He's going to need a lot of coaching.

Somebody needs to proofread better. When I first saw that I was thinking when did they start inviting 4th graders to these elite camps?

What's the story on the dad?

I'm trying to get clarification on what exactly his story is but from what I can gather so far he started a school like Evangel Christian (Louisiana) that's private and recruits elite talent to play high school football.

I don't think Sills plays there. Here are his high school stats:

LINK

He went from starting as a Freshman (where he did very well) to playing a total of 5 games the last 2 years.

Some think his lack of playing time is due to his dad's dealings.

I don't look at his stats though. I look at his film.

He is a bigger, more athletic Greg McElroy to me. His arm is marginal. But his mechanics are superb.

He can add 30 pounds of muscle and increase his arm strength though.

He plays for Eastern Christian Academy. They have ha trouble finding people to play them. Michigan took two kids from them last year and both appear to be very under ranked by the services.

Following a two day unofficial visit to Alabama, 4-star Blake Barnett has cancelled his final two SEC visits and will return home.
The 6-foot-5, 200 - pounder will visit Oregon later this week. His family is expected to join him on the visit.
Originally Barnett was planning to visit LSU and Georgia but has cancelled those plans.
Previously Barnett told 247Sports the visit to Oregon would likely be his last before making a decision.
Oregon is the current leader via the 247Sports Crystal Ball. However Alabama certainly made up ground following a positive visit.
