I was severely disappointed to find (yeah, I looked it up) that #44 will be worn a DT rather than a running back. Or even Humphrey or Brown. The powers-that-be at Bama need to understand some things are just too important to ignore.

The legend himself, man.

(I do know that the #12 is the most auspicious in Bama football, though.)

Former Florida QB John Brantley is the last 5-star Pro-Style QB to come from the historical SEC states (Ryan Mallett is from Texas, but that was before A&M joined). You know what class he was in? 2007. Let that sink in.

Ryan Mallett lived on the Texas side of Texarkana but attended high school on the Arkansas side.

This got me all excited, but maybe it's not about a recruit committing.

Due to a last minute football commitment, Coach Kiffin will not throw out the 1st pitch. He promises to reschedule. @BamaRightField

Kiffin doing some work. His trolling abilities are second to none, I wish our assistants didn't have gag orders.

Not sure what this might mean for Jai Miller:

@reggieragland: I went back to number 19 high school days

Heard we put Jai in a nursing home. He's enjoying it though, has a real appetite for jello and is the captain of the shuffleboard team.

I don't know to laugh or shake my head, because we are the same age.

We offered a RB/WR from Louisiana yesterday. Kid has the highest SPARQ rating of any prospect so far this year at 138.

Seeing as I have yet to find an article stating what position we are recruiting Merritt for, I have placed his profile and highlights under the "Athlete" section on the first page.

Don't get your feelings hurt, Bucc. I'm not slamming you as a person and I'm unconcerned with being on whatever "level" you think you are on. My point is that there are several Bama posters who I like to see what they are saying about a recruit that Bama & LSU are after. You seem like a nice guy, but I take whatever you say about recruiting with a grain of salt because you are extremely optimistic about all recruits. LSU has posters like this too (Memphis, Red, etc). Not bad guys, just not as realistic as they should be about chances of landing players.

Wesley Sinor, reporter for Al.com, broke the recent trend of picking Jake Fruhmorgen to Clemson yesterday. He predicted him to us.

We also got a CB for Michael Barnett yesterday.

In other bizarre CFB recruiting news, apparently Reddit has been given an account on 247 to make CB predictions.

Here are all of their picks: LINK

They did predict us to land Daron Payne at least.
