According to Tuscaloosa News, hearing concluded. No ruling from bench. Proposed orders due at 4:00 today.

If not ruling and orders at 4pm, I’m betting Bediako gets a new TRO

Wouldn’t the old TRO still be in effect if they haven’t determined anything?

My understanding is the TRO was set to expire today because a new one would be issued if determined there was merit.

If he loses in court, do we have to vacate the Missouri and A&M wins?

No, TRO specifically limited such activity from the NCAA

I’m betting the court enters an order at 4:59 and walks out the door for the weekend. The judge almost certainly knows what he is going to do at this point.

I have a question from a legal standpoint regardless of whether you support him or think he should be ineligible.

1. The NCaa currently allows European player to play professionally and then have four years eligibility to play college ball but not American players.

2. They are arguing that he is outside the five years eligibility window but we see CFB players with 6 and 7 years of eligibility. How is any of this different from Bediakios situation?

Not from a fan perspective but legally speaking.

Legally speaking, I’ve combed through years of case study and determined this is basically how eligibility is determined case by case

This is part of Bediako's argument, in that the NCAA is disparately and arbitrarily applying their rules against prior professional experience in making eligibility determinations.

This isn't part of the argument in this case. The "5 to play 4" rule is actually something that has held up in court pretty regularly. They aren't arguing for more eligibility, because he's still within his "5 to play 4" window of eligibility (though barely so).

Which also makes no sense and will eventually fall unless a CBA is put into place which is the only thing that is going to save college sports

Wasn't there a Texas A&M guy that we played the other day that was operating under a TRO? Nobody cared about that apparently

Well you see, Greg Sankey is a whore for the Texas schools. He couldn’t possibly mention them because as soon as he opens his mouth an Aggie or Longhorn dick flies in it.

And it was issued by a hometown Texas judge who said “There might be a different result later, but today I’m approving the temporary restraining order.” The "later" is after the season is over.

Of course, A&M fans celebrated the right decision being made.

Agee/Texas A&M were appealing the NCAA not granting a 6th year of eligibility so he could transfer into A&M to play this season after being at around 5 different schools in the previous 5 seasons.

dunno if you ever saw my email about next weekend, but just ignore it. Finally talked her out of it because I'll be getting back late that night from a business trip in St Augustine.

If I see him around Birmingham I’m throwing an egg salad sandwich right at his fat head.

I keep an egg salad sandwich on me at all times just in case
