They just keep on passing the court assignment to a new Alabama law grad until they find someone in an adjacent county with a Cumberland degree that has a son on the baseball team or something.

New judge will confirm previous ruling. Doesn’t matter who it is.
New judge will decide whether he’s entitled to a preliminary injunction not affirm or reject the current TRO. Similar in a lot of ways but not the same.

I’m speculating and have not read the briefs, but I think Bediako probably gets the preliminary injunction.

I dont know a lot about Pruet, hope Miles' attorney wasn't contentious with him at any point. Would hate for his personal feelings to color his view of this ruling.

Personally, I want Chuck to be eligible because it will force the NCAA to ban ALL PROS of any sort. I keep seeing people say "Europe is different, they dont have any other choice but to sign with pro teams". Well, theyre signing as 17/18 yr olds, maybe colleges should devote more resources to evaluating Euro talent before they sign pro.

edit: Pruet's undergrad was done at Auburn.

There is nothing holding their concepts of amateurism together in the courts. At most, courts seem interested in opportunities for high schoolers but I don’t think that’d survive a full appeal process. That judge in the Ziegler case just bought some bullshite from the NCAA I’m not sure every judge would.

I didn’t particularly like or agree with how the Miles verdict played out. Not that a judge has a lot to do with that often, but still. Gives me the ick

That fricking shitstain Rodak is describing him as an Alabama grad.

I assume he went to law school at Alabama, but so did half the judges in the state. It's not like there are half a dozen law schools in Alabama.
