You don’t seem to know what actual success is. Riley has achieved, at best, on par with KD. You might disagree but you cannot argue he’s a noticeable upgrade over KD

I never said he was. I stated explicitly I prefer to keep DeBoer.

I just said in a world where te rumored DeBoer to USC rumors happen and USC pays us 15 million would it be a decent option to hire Riley at a severe discount and pour that money into NiL instead of hiring some G5 coach who has never done anything on any major stage and has no experience in big games.

15 million in buyout money and 6 mil per year in “we hired a fired coach” money would buy a lot of talent.

Again, it was just spitballing ideas since the rumors are ruminating

Dude on Reddit who claims to have a relative playing for GT says he's a locker room cancer.

I could believe it. Probably not hard to figure out who the relative is if it’s an Alabama reddit

What did he do to get kicked off mid-season? Usually, it has to be something serious for that to happen. In the old days GT made them go to class, but I doubt that is the case anymore.

But apparently none of you remember USC, LSU, Oklahoma, and Florida were all ready to give him 100 million dollars. Won the Big 12 and beat Texas’ arse every year. Heisman/1st Rd QBs every single year.

So you're saying he's terrible and couldn't win with an NFL QB every year.

That's what everybody has been trying to tell you.

Glad you finally get it.

I’m done arguing with people about Lincoln Riley.

Good because the idea that Riley is a more accomplished coach than DeBoer is colossally stupid.

IDGAF how many teams wanted to give him $100m.

I hope the committee gives us credit for beating State with Kamario. Because they were a really good team with him. They went on the road and Smacked Minnesota who is giving IU all they can handle and they beat South Carolina, and Mizzou

Unfortunately state is now the worst team in the SEC and Lebby is probably going to be lucky to make it to next year

How TF does the SEC refs not have what all these conferences have with the audio of reviews being broadcasted?

Indiana struggling at home vs Minnesota.

I think State would be insane to fire Lebby. State was gonna win 8 or 9 games this year until their QB got hurt

I don’t think Lebby is in trouble. I have a lot of MSU fan friends and they all seem to feel the season was derailed by injuries. They’re still good with Lebby

Bringing a roster of 23-24 year olds that have been playing your system for years and having Cuban buy a Heisman QB seems to help a coach.

Cignetti is a good coach but we'll see if he can ever replicate the results of that perfect storm.

Cignetti’s smug arse going to escape with another lucky win against an unranked team. He almost fricked his team over with that clock management there at the end of regulation

Also hope they give us credit for only losing to Georgia due to corrupt officiating and Tennessee due to having half our starting lineup out.
