He is one of the 3 finalists for the award.

Jordan Addison, Pitt
David Bell, Purdue
Jameson Williams, Alabama

For all those worried about the transfer portal Saban will make the most of it.

Just think what might have happened to us without him and HT.

None of the Ohio St receivers made it as finalists? Guess Bama took the best of the bunch.

And they are losing it.

But a lot easier when defenses have to account for all 3 vs JW and the big threat.

Happy for Jameson and no big deal if OSU receiver not nominated. All three OSU receivers stole thunder from each other. OSU second stringer won Heisman (Burrow) and it looks like OSU second stringer will win Biletnikoff.

I am OK with that.

Rich Eisen big Michigan fan, went off on this, saying now OSU receivers will be even more motivated. See 54 second mark. LINK

Well OSU had Georgia’ s second stringer QB and you didn’t win anything. No Heisman,No Natty.
Jameson is no second stringer; he just needed the spotlight to show his talent. Mel Kiper had him rated as his top WR in the draft just a couple of weeks ago.

Sounds to me like OSU is just picking the wrong starters

You are not ok with this. Simply your posting demonstrates how upset you are with it to have to come on a UA board to make this statement it does not bother you.

Take a breathe, step away from the keyboard, and go treat yourself to a tattoo. I heard they are free near campus.

You assholes are worse than we are at letting the younger guys get pissed off on the bench while upperclassmen exercise their privileges. Good.

As I said. Very happy for him. Fits much better in Alabama than OSU. Smith Njiba (sp)fits in better with OSU.

Don't care about Biletnikoff much because the success in the NFL is much more important to recruits than awards. Expect him to be successful as well as several of OSU receivers.

Someone made a silly argument above that Fields was a second stringer at Georgia who started for OSU. He would have started at Georgia if he stayed. He was a sophomore when transferred to OSU while Williams and Burrow were seniors who didn't start.

This board has been a good board and I was both taking a gentle jab at OSU and a small compliment at the same time. You could criticize OSU for not playing great players like Burrow and Williams and at the same time it is a compliment to OSU that they had very good players ahead of both of them. (Of course, it is clear now that Burrow was a better player than Haskins. Time will tell in the NFL future whether Williams is better than the OSU receivers.)

Finally would add that in 1st year at LSU, Burrow's team won a game at the buzzer. The winning field goal was shown on the OSU jumbotron and the stadium cheered for Joe. LINK

Are you really an OSU fan? Do you realize Burrow played two years at LSU and was not a Senior when he transferred ?
Jameson is a Junior not a Senior.
So who’s argument is silly,again?

Joe redshirted his freshman year and graduated from OSU before he transferred. (Turns out that he graduated in 3 years by taking online courses, which I forgot) Thought he was a senior, and I was wrong. On the other hand, my main point was that Joe had been at OSU for a long time and didn't see himself starting. Different from Fields who only spent 1 year at Georgia.

Just plain wrong about Williams. Seemed like he was at OSU for longer period of time. In any event, he left because he didn't see a whole lot of playing time in what would have been his 3rd year. Great decision for him. Didn't hurt OSU at all.

When Fields transferred OSU was hurting at qb and helped a lot. When Williams transferred Alabama needed help at wr. Best programs need help from the transfer portal at times, including Alabama and OSU.

OSU currently has 4 highly rated qbs. When 1 or 2 leave through the transfer portal, I will be pulling for whoever it is to do well unless they knock OSU while walking out the door.
