Ohio State Fan Here. I couldn't believe targeting or unnecessary roughness wasn't called. OSU was leading Clemson 16-0 in first half of playoff game when DB Shaun Wade (5'10") came in untouched aiming for Trevor Lawrence (6'6") chest. Lawrence ducked into Wade and Wade's helmet incidentally hit t...

Devastating reporting from Bruce Feldman. Said that he and other reporters at the Athletic asked coaches how much of a difference this cheating made to the outcome and for them to rate it on a scale of 1 to 5. 95% of the coaches rated it as a 3 or above. Some coaches said it could given the cheaters...

Rick Neuheisel former qb and head coach states that Michigan received a significant advantage. Says that last years offensive coordinator Josh Gattis won the Broyles award as top offensive coordinator but couldn't last one year as head coach without the sign stealing advantages. https://www.youtu...

Wall Street Journal reporting that Michigan has withdrawn a contract offer to Harbaugh that would have given him a very substantial raise. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/michigan-rescinded-contract-offer-to-jim-harbaugh-after-sign-stealing-allegations/ar-AA1j3w6i...

Since Michigan has illegally obtained a significant competitive advantage, I think it should be penalized this year. I would suggest that they be forced to play without a coach [below the coordinator level] on both the offensive and defensive side. For instance, they should be forced to lose their...

Many people with no axe to grind think this is very serious. I am an OSU person with an axe to grind, but if Alabama keeps winning I think it deserves to be in the playoff more than blatant cheaters like Michigan. Dan Dakich [former Indiana and Bowling Green basketball coach] tears into Michigan...
I saw this play from a different angle before and JSN looked like he had to go down. From the angle shown at 14:22 doesn't look like he is down. So, I can agree it was a legitimate hit although I wonder about forearm knocking off helmet....
Thank you. Here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrz0urmr2C8&ab_channel=MeHaTV Hit is at 14:22 of video....
As an Ohio State fan, I commented on Jameson Williams last year here and wished him well. Got thinking that maybe Alabama fans would be neutral arbiters of this question. The Notre Dame hit against Jaxson Smith Njigba seems borderline to me. Notre Dame player's shoulder went into Njigba's shoul...
I remember many folks here saying Joe couldn't be any good because he was OSU's No. 2. Even after his first year here, many here were saying he was only a game manager. I was here from day 1 saying how I thought he was very good -- A 2d to 5th round draft pick. Little did I know he was the goat...
As a young player, he seemed reasonably good. Last year didn't look good at all when he played. Could have been injuries. Also, could have been coaching -- there was none. Kerry Combs as defensive coordinator was a complete bust and his mid-season replacement only a little better. QB C J Stro...
Interesting to see whether Williams can top JSN who was the 3rd receiver who made it difficult for Williams last year to get into the starting lineup. Very happy that he was able to put his ample talents to use at Alabama when his playing time would have been limited at OSU. Of course, last year...

Good Luck to You Guys from an OSU fan

I have been on this board a few times and have been impressed with the geniality and fairness of 98% of the posters. Although your domination in the last 10 years is not desirable from my standpoint, you have done it with class. That you can get to the title game with a team that rushed for only...
Joe redshirted his freshman year and graduated from OSU before he transferred. (Turns out that he graduated in 3 years by taking online courses, which I forgot) Thought he was a senior, and I was wrong. On the other hand, my main point was that Joe had been at OSU for a long time and didn't see h...
As I said. Very happy for him. Fits much better in Alabama than OSU. Smith Njiba (sp)fits in better with OSU. Don't care about Biletnikoff much because the success in the NFL is much more important to recruits than awards. Expect him to be successful as well as several of OSU receivers. ...
Happy for Jameson and no big deal if OSU receiver not nominated. All three OSU receivers stole thunder from each other. OSU second stringer won Heisman (Burrow) and it looks like OSU second stringer will win Biletnikoff. I am OK with that. Rich Eisen big Michigan fan, went off on this, sayin...

OSU's 3rd best receiver, Jaxon Smith Njiba (sp) caught 15 passes for 240 yards about 3 weeks ago. Likely that all 3 receivers will surpass 1,000 yards this year. From what his teammates say apparently Olave is in Jameson's class in terms of speed although Jameson does look like a blur every time h...
I don't know of OSU fans claiming him. He is happy and very successful at Bama, and OSU is very happy with their 3 starters and 3 very good backups. (Julian Fleming, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Emeke Embuka (sp) Good for him and everything is good at OSU. Joe Burrow on the other hand felt he lear...
Sometimes, I try to dislike you guys, but you are among the classiest fan bases. (: (On the other hand, there is Clemson) You had a great team last year whose strength (receivers) was pitted against the worst weakness of OSU --secondary. Best team in 2020 and very deserving of National Champio...
As an OSU fan very happy for Jameson. He would have played behind Jaxson Smith Njigba who is an elite route runner and pass catcher but doesn't have the speed of Jameson. Jameson wouldn't have had a chance to show his very special skills at OSU. 2 weeks ago, JSN had 15 catches for 240 yards, incl...
